Message from CEO Dear Evolites, I would like to congratulate the team working on the Evosys News-Letter and bringing it back in action. I welcome all Evolites to come and make more and more contribution to make this an interesting and fun experience. 2012-13 is a very strategic year for Evosys as we lay foundation for entering the Public Company status in the coming two three years. It is absolutely important that we maintain the fine balance Umang Nahata between improving our existing business as we grow into new areas. CEO
Evosys is recognized to have one of the best teams from product knowledge, commitment, hard work, delivery assurance point of view, however we need to improve our customer facing, project management, knowledge mgt. and other soft skills. Our consulting teams have to be better than anybody else in the business. This needs a conscious attention from each one of us. There are some training programs that have been initiated around Project Management, Presales, Customer Relationship Management, English language and other soft skills and soon they will reach and cover all of Evolites, however these programs can just be the facilitator, the change has to come from within. We have already started some of the growth initiatives. Let me share some of them with you: ! Geographical expansion into India, South East Asia has started and will be soon followed in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Rest of Africa, ME and Western Europe). ! Going deeper into the healthcare space with new areas like Healthcare Business Consulting, Master Data management, Clinical BI, RFID, E-HR and HIS implementation etc. ! Developing the Education vertical to be as strong as our healthcare and public sector portfolio and simultaneously opening doors in a few other areas (Telecom, Logistics, Banking, CPG etc.) ! New Practices around Oracle Technology and Fusion. While we are taking the above steps, we need to be absolutely sure that we grow strong in our new horizontals, which were started last year or a year before i.e. CRM, PeopleSoft, VCP (Demantra), Mobile Apps and Hyperion OBIA. I am more than confident with the support of our very skilled & committed teams, we will get them on top gear very soon. We have also strengthened our operations with Legal Entity formation in KSA, Qatar which now makes us a holding company with 5 legal entities (a little complex design to implement Oracle ) We are all eagerly awaiting to move to our new corporate office by November this year; work is going on at full swing. No doubt, we have come a long way but of course, there is still a long, long way to go. So let's keep enjoying our passionate, evolutionary, friendly journey. Lets align all of our work with the motto of â€œDelivering Business the way it has never been done before â€œ Improve and Innovate.

Here, sharing some of the new initiatives taken and process improvements in the last quarter!! -Competency Mapping In line with to be a process oriented organization, we have launched Competency Mapping System. The primary purpose of the system is to have updated and centrally available competencies of all the employees all the time. Moving ahead, the system can help immensely in employee career planning and development. In the first phase, system is launched with ERP competencies. In next phase, we plan to cover all the practices in the system. Learning Initiatives In our endeavor to have continuous and holistic growth of our employees, last quarter we conducted training in the areas of Effective communication skills (Ahmedabad), Customer Orientation(Ahmedabad), Project Management (KSA), Pre-sales orientation (UAE). Testimonies of some of the Participants, which is also a great encouragement for the training group to keep on initiating and spreading the learning initiatives all across the geographies.

HR Update New Comers Very near to 300 mark, we would like to re-introduce some of the employees joined us at important positions. Girish Lampuse Girish Lampuse has joined Evosys as a “Senior Consultant”. He is Masters in Business Administration, from Banglore University.He comes with an experience of 11+ years and specializes in working on Oracle HRMS. Girish has worked with some well know consulting brands like Infogain, Mastek, Capgemini etc. Narahari Rao Narahari Rao has joined Evosys as a “Senior Consultant”. He is Masters in IT from University of New England. He has 7 years of experience in IT industry and specializes in Informatica, Datawarehousing and OBIEE. Prior joining Evosys Narahari was associated with Wipro Technologies.
