The 2011-2012 DENSA School Dance season is well underway and we’re thrilled that you and your child(ren) are a part of it. Our instructors are full of great ideas and the dancers are showing improvement each week.

Calling all Parent Volunteers! Dear Parents, We are in the process of preparing costumes for the year end performance. Although we have some pieces available to the DESNA School, we will need to add additional pieces and order others. We will be looking for help from you in two main ways: (1) Sewing / making adjustments to the costumes we have available to us (2) Fundraising for costumes that need to be ordered.

Fundraising can come from a variety of sources, including fundraising events, charitable donations to the DESNA Ukrainian Dance Company of Toronto or even corporate sponsorship. Last, but not least, we are also looking for a corporate sponsor to fund T-Shirts for the dancers. If you have any specific fundraising ideas or sources of funding for costumes or the tshirts, please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you,

Ukie-Fit Session Starting in January Ukie Fit is an adult fitness class that bends Pilates, Dance Conditioning, Cardio and Ukrainian dance that’s not only fun, but offers an effective work-out.

It’s perfect for busy parents / adults, and also current dancers looking to build strength and endurance as well. The next 8-week session will be offered from Jan 10
