Rina Ajiro
My name is RINA AJIRO. I’m an international art student of El Camino Community College, and my major is Fine Arts|Studio Art. I was born and raised in Japan. Before I entered ELCO, I went to Kanda Institute Foreign Language school in Japan. I learned English at the KIFL, and I got transferable credits to CSU.

I’ve been living in the States since September 2022. When I lived in Japan, I worked as a freelance multi artist while also going to school. I have worked as a graphic designer, fashion designer, tattoo/jagua tattooist, and illustrator.

Advertisement Design
Advertisement of coffee glazed donuts, Digital Design class of ELCO, 2022

This is my original advertisement for the digital design class of Fall, 2022. We were available to choose anything about food in this class, so I chose the donut for my concept. For me, I had created a fictitious donut company which I named ‘LOOP’ at first, and then I had created a logo design, package design, recipe book design and advertisement based on that fictitious donut company. The characteristics of this ad is really simple and well balanced of margins, colors and fonts. Also I used Procreate(iPad), Adobe’s InDesign, and Photoshop. This ad was fully marked at this class.

These are some of my original artworks outside of the college’s class. I do both digital and analog paintings but now I actually do digital painting more than analog. But I really like both as much as the same!
