HOW TO GET STARTED


Intro Visions and Intentions Subs N Such is a local Deli Restaurant chain that's been around since 1983 Who sells sandwiches and other deli products. Where people can sit down, rest, relax and have a delicious sandwich. This document serves as a guidebook for the Subs N Such relaunch to the local community and new locations. Subs N Such is a local restaurant company that provides for the community. They rely on building personal experience with customers to help create a relationship with them. The previous logo, seen at the bottom of the page, was outdated and inconsistent. The circle structure was for easy printing seals for packages. The typography in the logo was lacking in giving off the proper feeling of positivity the company does. The sandwich in the center is very detailed, with various colors. Subs N Such still has a local history and hopefully a big future. The new logo received a modern look but still is associated with positive feelings. The flat-designed sandwich rests inner circle design with flames waves meant to represent steam. Below the names “Subs, N Such” thick sans serif represents how big the company is to the community, standing out amongst other local businesses. With noticeable additions tagline "Homemade Sandwich" and "Est. 1983" To tell people our story. With the logo comprising of colors you would see in a Sandwich

Communication GET INVOLVED: For the Subs N Such branding to be successful, we need to convey positivity and growth within the brand committed to the community. The brand must speak to both individuals and the community for each relationship to be special to everyone. Also, this must resonate to connect with the current happenings in the community and state of Tennessee. This idea will communicate our Central Brand Idea and Mission Statement What if everyone could not only help the community but make it grow. What benefits could this have, and who will it affect. It would start so many new relationships and a new path for people. How could a single sandwich change the world well it's not a sandwich it's a meal.....

LOGOTYPE The circle compiles logo-mark ending at the bottom, which leads into the Subs N Such logotype. The type is in all caps in a 17 point font and spaced 0.0443 inches below the logo-mark. This mark must be kept consistent and distinct. All local chains should conform to the configuration and standards for the mark as outlined in this document.

What are the Color Types What is Pantone (PMS or spot color) A PMS color is a solid color/ink that is directly printed in finished form. PMS colors are more precise and best for documents containing 3 colors or less and for large (over 1,000 quantity) print jobs. What is CMYK (process color) CMYK Colors are produced by mixing separate applications of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks. Process color can vary depending on the vendor and equipment. What is RGB (digital color) RGB color is for use with any digital device and used for website content, social media posts, or mobile apps.

Color Cont The main color palette comprises the PMS colors shown on the previous Page. The preferred color presentation of the Subs N Such Logo PMS 729 C (Dark Tan), PMS 584 C (Light Green), PMS 7416 C (Light Red), PMS 7159 C (Dark Brown), and PMS 1355 C (Creme). These colors must be adhered to in Local agency logos It is not an option to print the logo itself in colors other than white, black, or the colors given in this style guide. See previous pages for more information regarding approved logo treatments. The color palette is intended to offer you more options for variety in the design and layout of documents. In addition: • Use single swatches of color in combination with white or black text, as well as and vivid photography. • Choose a color combination from the palette that is also found in your photography when possible. An example is light red on a on a white Background • Keep used color to a minimum. Try to use one main brand color with various tints and shades and a complementary if needed. • When appropriate use one of the gray tones given as a neutral color. This will balance the bold use of color from the main palette, with the content displayed in PMS

Typography The typeface used in the Subs N Such logo is a Bebas Neue as well as the name and tagline. The date and establish text are Montserrat . Please use this typeface to add your regional name or contact information. If necessary you may use Bebabas Neue or Montserrat instead. Place the name of the regional branch in the following locations with respect to the logotype seen on page 6 - using or Bebas Neue, centered, written in all caps in one of the corresponding palette colors.
