J o u r n ey t o H e alin g Are you facing a difficult disease or illness and want to cry out to God for healing, but don't know how? If you feel scared, alone, unsure of the future, or don't understand how healing works, below are five scriptures to guide your prayers for healing. Through prayer God can speak to us and use us to work miracles for His glory. When you use prayer for healing you are coming to God completely surrendered and expecting to let His Holy Spirit work in and through you. Pr over bs 4:20-22 NIV My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body. Psalm 107: 19-20 NIV Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men. M ar k 5:34 NIV He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering. Jer em iah 17:14 NIV Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. Jam es 5:16 NIV Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Mother 's Day is a day set apart to honor every superwoman who walks in the role of a mother. With this being such an important day to celebrate, finding the perfect gift can be overwhelming, but it does not have to be stressful or expensive. One sure way to please is to buy her what she likes. You can't go wrong when you choose something she would choose for herself. Another way is to deliver a gift from the heart. Sometimes the simplest gifts are the gifts that mean the most. You can buy a nice plant for her to care for or you can write a poem. Lastly, give her your time and attention. For instance, plan a picnic at the park or make a reservation to a restaurant she has heard about or one that has become your favorite. If you?re a mom, don't forget to arrange some time to yourself as well. Nothing is more valuable than time used to relax, unwind, and to re-energize as you pursue your journey to wholeness.

When we see affluent women in entertainment, business, or the workplace, seldom do we muse over the obstacles and struggles that were subdued before that pinnacle of success was achieved. Pamela Gantt is the epitome of a SWATA woman whose indomitable strength and reliance on God paved the way to an incredible come back from an array of life disappointments. Pamela, a nineteen-year member of RDCI, has braved divorce, the loss of several close family members, and unexpected family challenges. ?When things weren?t turning out the way I expected for my children, I was encouraged through messages from Dr. Marcia to continue to battle for my seed. I?ve learned that even though life doesn?t always play out the way you expect, you have to pick yourself up and keep going forward. It won?t rain forever; the sun will shine again,? Pamela asserted. Although she is employed by the State of South Carolina, Pamela?s passion is writing. She is an accomplished author of several motivational books and blogs, a photographer, and most recently became a licensed real estate agent. Drives in the country, capturing unique photos, and exploring antique shops with her husband Kevin are her favorites, alongside time treasured with her kids and grandkids.

NAOM I'S NUGGETS Don?t allow turbulence in your life to make you think God does not see you or that you have done something wrong. Nisan is God?s set time of favor, deliverance, unexplainable actions and activities. Get in position to receive and be obedient to follow the voice of God. Expect to receive strategy to build and expand in this season. God will move in an unexpected area. God said ask for it; those in power will give you what you want in this season. Get out of the boat and out of ?fearville.? Trust God. Excerpt from Sunday Service/ March 10, 2019

While Pamela?s life is fast-paced, she takes every opportunity to encourage women with the lessons she?s learned and says, ?If you fall, fail, or make mistakes, get up because it?s not the end. My favorite scripture Jeremiah 29:11 reminds me that God knows the plans He has for me. So nothing I?m confronted with takes Him by surprise.? Having seen SWATA from its inception until now, Pamela is inspired by how powerful the sisterhood has become. ?We are united beyond color, nationality, [economic status,] jealousy, or competition. We are a force to be reckoned with!?
