Anne Furbank Fashion
Editors Letter Having had such a fabulous summer, in a way I am looking forward to the autumn. The changing colours in the landscape are always reflected in the clothes but this autumn there is a real fashion element to the collections. That may sound a little odd as we are a fashion business but sometimes you get coasting seasons where a particular trend takes hold and stays for a few years. This autumn there’s a difference. Noticeable key fashion looks that you can embrace wholeheartedly or dip a toe in the water until you feel comfortable with it. You can see our season’s highlights on page 6. Our big birthday feature continues, this time with Jacky reflecting on turning 50.
The hotel has not only travelled around the world with the theme nights but our monthly Friday drinks offer (6-8pm) has been a very popular start to the weekend with Prosecco, Pimms and white Sangria all making an appearance. Look out for September and October offers on our website. Bread is baked daily in the hotel and pastry chef Amina gives us one of her delicious bread recipes to create at home (page 33).
