Rim Communities Special Olympics A Local Program of the Inland Empire Region Through the power of sports, people with intellectual disabilities discover new strengths and abilities, skills and success. Athletes find joy, confidence, and fulfillment -- on the playing field and in life. They also inspire people in their communities and elsewhere to open their hearts to a wider world of human talents and potential. Help Us Get Started! The Rim of the World Recreation and Park District is in the beginning stages of starting a local program here on our mountain. We are currently working on an Annual Program Plan, recruiting a local program of committee volunteers for key leadership, and also recruiting volunteer coaching staff. The program can then start recruiting athletes. If you would like more information about becoming a volunteer or athlete, please contact Veronica Perez, Community Services Specialist, or Bob Kinzel, Recreation & Maintenance Manager, at the District Office (909) 337-7275.

Do you have a business or organization that would like to help sponsor or partner with one of our programs or events? If you would like more information, please call (909) 337-7275. Creating Community | (909) 337-PARK | www.rim-rec.org
