Walk for Multiple Sclerosis on Sunday at Garry Point A fundraiser to support multiple sclerosis research is being held this weekend at Garry Point Park. On Sunday, May 1, locals will be gathering in Steveston for the Scotiabank MS Walk beginning at 8 a.m., when check-in begins. The walk is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. To register, call 604-602-3221 or visit mssociety.ca and click Donate Now. Multiple sclerosis is a complex disease most often diagnosed in young adults, ages 15 to 40, though children as young as two have been affected.
