Growing up, I loved spending weekends touring model homes with my mom. We weren’t necessarily looking to buy—it was about the joy of discovery: wandering from room to room, admiring the décor, and imagining the possibilities of what home could look like.
That same spirit of inspiration is at the heart of Richmond Homearama. This year’s showcase features eight extraordinary designer homes from some of the region’s most respected custom builders, all thoughtfully arranged within a single, picturesque cul-de-sac. Together, they form a curated experience—where each home reflects a unique personality, aesthetic, and point of view.
What makes Homearama so special is the transformation that has unfolded in such a short time. Just a year ago, these lots were nothing more than open ground. Today, they stand as strikingly crafted residences, each one layered with countless hours of planning, design, and skilled execution. From architectural details to interior finishes, every element represents the collaboration between builders, architects, designers, and trades who poured their creativity into making these homes one of a kind.
As you tour, I encourage you to slow down and take it all in. Notice the thoughtful use of light, the flow of a floor plan, the statement of a staircase, or the charm of a tucked-away nook. Inspiration often comes in the smallest details—ideas you can bring back to your own home or tuck away for a future dream build.
But beyond the craftsmanship, Homearama is an experience to be shared.
