On Feb. 8 and 9 at Scottsdale Civic Center Mall, attendees at the Arizona Indian Festival will learn about the 22 tribes native to Arizona, experience traditional American Indian villages, listen to legendary stories told by tribe elders, and enjoy performances of traditional music and dances – all with the goal of promoting tribal tourism and awareness of Arizona’s indigenous communities. For food lovers, the Arizona Native Edible Experience (Feb. 8) will showcase traditional and fusion foods and drinks with cooking demonstrations from Native American chefs across five tasting stations at Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West.
