October 23, 2017 Everett Lee Parduhn, age 82, passed away at home in Buena Vista Township on Monday, October 23, 2017. He was born at home on May 7, 1935, first son of Everett F. “Piv” and Marian (Groshong – Lonetree) Parduhn. He was raised on the family farm homestead (1849). Everett entered the Army after high school at Ithaca spending 2 years in Hawaii and then onto the Korean War. He attended MATC and graduated as a Master Meat Cutter working a short time at both Oscar Mayer’s and Piggly Wiggly. He then worked at the Madison Water Utility for 13 years as a heavy equipment operator crew foreman. In 1971 he married Janine Ragan and purchased the Parduhn family farm in 1973 milking cows and farming until retirement in 1997. He was proud to live in a close knit community with good

family and neighbors. He served his community on the Buena Vista Town Board and Richland County Board. Everett was preceded in death by his parents, Everett “Piv” and Marian; brothers, Daniel F. and Gerald “Jerry”; special uncle’s, Ervie and Buford “Stack” Parduhn. Survivors include his wife of 46 years Janine Parduhn; 2 sons, Max Parduhn, Austin (Ashley Ferguson) Parduhn; a grandson, Kutter Lee Parduhn; 2 brothers, Donald and James Parduhn; special cousin Pam (Parduhn) Andreae; lifetime friend, Jerry Smith; brothers-in-law, Robert (Kathy) Ragan, Harley (Debbie) Ragan; many other relatives and friends. Everett was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was very proud to have owned his farm in Quibell, Ontario, Canada. Deer hunting and playing cards were his favorites. In later years he enjoyed spending time at the cabin on the Bender Nee Parduhn farm in Viola. He enjoyed all the neighbors and friends who dropped in often for coffee, cards, and advice which he gladly gave them most always in a humorous way. Everett disliked winters with a passion, therefore the celebration of his life will be held in late spring for his family and close friends. Happy 18th Birthday Sebastian
I would like to thank all the people who thought of me while I was in the University of Wisconsin Hospital for kidney dialysis. The Yuba Fire Department and First Responders for the flowers they sent me. The people who sent cards, and phone calls and to the DaVita Dialysis Center in Lake Delton. The staff was top notch. Also to G.R.A.C.E. for all their help too. A special thanks to my wife, mother, daughter, son and niece for the help to get to my appointments.
