Singers’ show of support for music charity
New Harmony Ladies’ Choir meet Julie Dunn from MusicSpace
A group of singers have made a donation to a Bristol-based music charity – to the tune of £265. New Harmony Ladies’ Choir, which meets every week at Horfield United Reform Church, in Muller Road, have handed a cheque to Julie Dunn from MusicSpace after choosing the music therapy service as their charity for the year and holding collections at two concerts last year. The charity’s team of stateregistered music therapists works with more than 400 children, young people and adults each week at its centres in Southville and Fishponds and in Children’s Centres, special and mainstream schools and residential homes, as well as at Bristol’s Children’s Hospital.
