Agenda / program and sessions Academic Program

During the first week, participants will attend a variety of

academic programs to develop clinical skills that are useful for voluntary work and also acquire advanced medical knowledge. Our academic part is designed in following perspectives:

1

Training in hospital: participants will be guided through National Taiwan University Hospital(NTUH), the greatest

hospital in Taiwan; participants can also follow a physician or surgeon to observe the process of operation. Besides, NTUH

offers practice training on clinical skills and mini-invasive surgery that participants are allowed to perform on their own.

2

Professional lectures: We will invite experienced lecturers to talk about their professions. Including Neuroscience, Chinese

Medicine, and medical presentation skills. Participants can gain extra knowledge they rarely get to know in normal medical education system.

3

General knowledge for medical volunteers: This course is

designed to enable participants to complete their voluntary activities effectively and smoothly. Doctors of Family Medicine

will introduce concepts of Public health and Health Education, along with emergency skills.
