This year, the event will showcase more than 60 newly constructed homes throughout Guilford and Forsyth counties. Members of the Greensboro Builders Association (GBA), along with the Home Builders Association of Winston-Salem and High Point, will open their homes to the public from 1 to 5 p.m. for two weekends – Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 and Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5 – and admission is free. According to Cheryl Collins, executive officer of the GBA, the annual Parade of Homes provides an opportunity for consumers looking to build or buy a new home, or who are just interested in seeing the latest in home design trends, as well as meet and talk with area builders, designers and suppliers. R&K Custom Homes and Don Mills Builders incorporate all these trends in the homes they build, plus they add their own unique ideas. Mills has three homes in the parade, all in Stonebridge in northern Greensboro, and R&K will open the doors to five of their homes – two in Hartman Farm in Brown Summit, one in Jessup Ridge in northern
