As part of its commitment to reach its target population, Radiant has organized a three days intensive training on HIV prevention programme for the selected peer educators from 9th-11th February, 2012, at Oda and its environs. It is note worthy that the participants did not only turn out in large number but also gave rapt attention to every session of the training; it was indeed a participatory training. The

RADIANT CONDUCTS PEER EDUCATORS’ TRAINING Another dramatic training consisted of selected peer educators from Board 1 and 2, Araromi-Aje, Orisaye, Ajipowo and Origere camp, was organized by Radiant for consecutive 3 days. The highly interactive training which held from 16th-18th February,2012,sought to provide participants with adequate knowledge on

HIV prevention program. Interestingly, participants turned out in large number and showed readiness to learn in the course of the training. All the topics covered at the previous training were equally treated during this training. Having equipped them with requisite knowledge and skills to aid in facilitating transfer of HIV prevention messages to their respective peers, 34 peer

educators were successfully trained and thereby deployed to start their peer education sessions with immediate effect.
