During the week of February 13-18, the River Grove Public Library will be celebrating Love Your Library Week. To celebrate: A replacement library card will be FREE! We will have chocolates available for visitors throughout the week! $1 will be taken off your overdue fines (up to $5) for every canned good you bring in. (Canned goods will go to the River Grove food pantry. They are in need of all nonperishable items but especially all types of soap -- bars, laundry, and dish soap).
Need help with math or reading? RGPL is offering free tutoring on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-6:00. This is for all ages. Call the library to register.
Want to ask a question or register for a program but are unable to find the time to do it with your busy schedule? Now RGPL has made it easy for you to do it! Email your questions or requests to rgplcirculation@gmail and we will take care of your request.

Conversational ESL classes are taking place at the River Grove Library on Tuesday evenings at 7:00. If you would like to practice speaking English or know someone who needs help with English, please join us. Registration is required.
The Adult Winter Reading Program is Here! The River Grove Public Library and the Friends of the Library will be sponsoring Hot Reads for Cold Nights, a Winter Reading Program for adults! The program will run from January 4th to February 25th with weekly raffle prizes including Dunkin' Donuts gift cards and Cirque du Soleil tickets! How it works: read a book, magazine, graphic novel, or listen to an audiobook; write it down on the reading log; bring the log to the librarian at the front desk and he or she will enter you into the weekly raffle. No registration necessary -- just stop by the library and grab a reading log! There will also be recommended reading lists available for readers of mystery, romance, science fiction, fantasy and more. FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid Are you confused or feeling overwhelmed about financial aid for your childâ€™s college tuition? On Saturday, February 18, we will have a representative from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission at the library to help with the financial aid process. Please join us at 11:00 for this informational presentation.
