THE ZETA DELTA DELTA EXPRESS September 2016

2016 Chapter Workshop This year the Zeta Delta Delta Chapter hosted its annual Chapter Workshop on July 9th. In this workshop the brothers of the chapter discussed past business and prepared for upcoming year. Brothers came together and planned homecoming events, 30th year celebration for the chapter and charter line and many other events for the local community.

“Young men typically experience trauma at a very young age and do not know how to successfully cope with it. If we would like to attack mental health head on, it would be best to start talking to young men in elementary school. We have to realize that like any other problem, it is okay to seek help for mental health issues. We see specialists for any other problems that we encounter in our life (dentist, mechanic, etc…), but are hesitant to talk to a specialist about our feelings.” Also the chapter received Undergraduate International Social Action Chapter of the Year for the second time in a row. and Bro. Christopher Pugh was awarded as the Chapter Advisor of the Year.

80th Grand Conclave At this 80th Grand Conclave the Zeta Delta Delta Chapter had two undergraduate representatives, Bro. DeJone Butler, Bro. Joshua Loiten, along with advisor Bro. Christopher Pugh and other brothers of the chapter in attendance. A report from Bro. Butler about what he learned at one of the Plenary Sessions - Brother You’re On My Mind/ Business Session Zeta Delta Delta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
