ohn Foo is one of the founding directors of Rezt & Relax Interior.

Equipped with several years of experience in the interior design

industry, it was just a natural progression for John to build his

own company. He believes one of the reasons he and Wilson can survive during the hard times is because they believe in themselves and that they can do it. Their perseverance and that strong belief fed, and continually to feed their mind and their energy. John is very passionate guy both in his professional and personal life. Apart from making sure his family has food on their table, there is one thing that makes John so motivated in doing his job and that is seeing the joy on his customer’s face when they see their newly renovated house. At the end of the day, their satisfaction is his own satisfaction. He has a shared vision with Wilson and that is to make the company listed as public company. He wants the company to grow, so everyone in the company will prosper. John is happily married to his loving wife, Wendy Lim and is a father to their only son.

W

ilson Teh is a proud father of 5 adorable children and a husband to his loving wife,

Ma Li Li. He relates managing a business into being the main man of the house by providing

constant encouragement to every member of the family.

Wilson Teh is at the core a survivor gifted with astute business acumen. He was only 7 when his father passed away and learned at the very young age how to earn a living by helping his mother selling jewelry. At the age of 10, the young Teh already had a stall at Centrepoint. Having his own stall in Centrepoint wasn’t enough for Mr. Teh and so when a few of his friends decided to run their own stalls in two other areas in the city, he earned income by being their middleman supplying goods for them. Wilson was once a door-to-door salesman of skin-care products for five years after completing his National Service before he went on to join an interior design firm for two years. Being a self-learned interior designer and a born entrepreneur, in the year 2000 he decided to venture out and run his own interior design business along with his long-time friend and co-director Mr. John Foo. All the experiences he has gone thru have shaped him who he is today. And all these experiences have equipped him valuable knowledge and hands-on exposure on how to run a successful business, which he continues to do so up to this day.

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) is an agency under the Ministry of National Development, championing the development of an excellent built environment for Singapore. “Built environment” refers to buildings, structures and infrastructure in our surroundings that provide the setting for the community’s activities. With the General Builder class 2 licence, we are allowed to undertake project of $6 million or less. This licence will ensure that building works are carried out only by Builders with experienced key personnel to manage the business and properly qualified technical personnel to supervise the execution of the works.
