THE  AFTERS  /  LIGHT  UP  THE  SKY The  lead  singer,  Joshua  Havens,  has  a  smooth,  but   not  overly  powerful  voice.  It’s  classy,  and  fits  in  nicely   with  the  pop  style  of  the  music,  w/  lots  of  synths,   orchestras,  and  guitars  when  needed.  Guitars  don’t   play  the  lead  in  these  songs,  and  in  all  reality,  it’s  the   vocals  that  are  the  big  kicker!    I  promise  you  will   have  them  in  your  head  for  days. Tenth  Avenue  North  -‐  The  Light  Meets  the  Dark In  this  album,  we  see  the  great  and  rough  +mes  of   the  Chris+an  walk.  Whoever  thought  being  a   Chris+an  was  the  easiest  thing  in  the  world  is  wrong.   The  songs  on  this  album  paint  the  perfect  picture  of   walking  the  narrow  road.    Very  melodic,  acous+c   and    piano  driven  sounds.    This  record  will  leave  you   encouraged  to  keep  walking.
