Cerro Negro: If you ever dreamed surfing a volcano, you can make that dream come true in Cerro Negro. This conic shape volcano and 728 meters high keeps active since emerged in 1850. In the whole history have had 23 eruptions, the last one in 1999. León: formerly the capital of Nicaragua, Leon, is the place with more churches in the whole country, which still keep the colonial style. Granada: This city is the “historical rival” of Leon that is a mandatory destination for all travellers. It was founded in 1524 for Francisco de Cordoba and over the years was victim of pirates, conquers and William Walker. Granada can be the start point for meet good places on the central zone of Nicaragua.
