Letter from the Editor Dear Readers, Thank you for choosing Retirement Connection. We are a locally owned and family run guide and website. Our goal has been to help families and other professionals better navigate the many aspects of retirement, and the guide is supported exclusively by our sponsors. Please return the favor by supporting them when you encounter a need for their services. Many of our readers have asked for ongoing updates on events, articles and resources. You can now find us on Facebook. Please become a fan to receive upcoming event details, new articles, and discussions. RetirementConnection.com is a valuable resource for “News & Events” for families and “Networking” for providers. We hope you find the guide and new website to be an easy to use and comprehensive resource. Retirement Connection is the official resource for Washington County Disability Aging and Veteran Services. This partnership further validates the need for this guide in the community. We are very grateful for this vote of confidence.

This guide has five primary color coded sections, with alphabetical topics. The A–Z index and Sponsor index in the back of the guide may be of additional assistance if you are searching for a specific resource. We publish twice a year in January and July. We look forward to your comments to help us improve. Additional copies can be picked up at more than 200 locations, including: Libraries, Senior Centers, Hospitals, Housing Communities, and local events. If your physician, local church, special event or other organization would like extra copies of our guide, we will be happy to provide these at no cost. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at Mktg@RetirementConnection.com.
