Guild Hall Pastel Awards

Alec Baldwin, who has just announced that he and his yoga instructor wife Hilaria will add a baby boy to their brood of three children this summer is the President of the Board of Trustess of Guild Hall in East Hampton. The arts organization, founded in 1931,is giving the first annual Dianne B. Bernhard Award for Excellence in Pastels at the opening of the 80th Artist Members Exhibition on April 14th. The show, which will feature the work of over 300 artists, runs through May 19th. Society band leader Alex Donner, who has performed for both President Bushs’, played a tribute to the singer Vic Damone at the Lighthouse Gala in Palm Beach. Donner also performed at the American Humane Association’s Hero Dog Awards hosted by Beth Stern, Daisy Funentes and Lois Pope at The Breakers. He sang “Hound Dog” and “How Much Is That Doggie in the Window.” Next up, Donner will perform at the NYC Mission Society’s Champion for Children gala on April 24th and the Anglosphere Society on May 16th where they will toast Prince Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle.
