DESIGNERS amato couture — Dubai The new collection is all about romance and femininity. It is a collection of frothy gowns covered in acres of delicate handwork, with embroidery, beading and painstakingly placed lace pieces. The new collection is chic and directional, setting new trend for the new era. The collection pushes boundaries on what ready-couture is all about. I was inspired to my Asian roots. If you will notice there is a lot of Asian culture in this collection, from the gowns with Chinese collars, to the kimono jackets to the oriental embroideries in each gowns, it’s truly homage to my roots and heritage while bringing the signature Amato Style.

aidarkhan Kaliyev for aspara — Kazakhstan The collection, «Peri of the Great Steppe», is dedicated to the steppe beauties. The collection is made in the style of neo-folklore, typical only for the ASPARA brand. The collection uses stylized forms of the Nomad costume. Black and white colors are a philosophy of life; throughout a woman’s life there are light and dark, happy and sad moments.

megan Zwack — uSa The Dr. Zwack CONDOR Collection materializes the essence of femininity and the mysticism of the ancients through the use of high-voltage color, sparkling crystals, and spirit infused symbols to alchemize and anchor the ethereal into an inspiring collection of couture, handmade designs. Entrancingly, each retro-inspired design has a futuristic twist, which gives rise to the timeless expression of feminine power and haunting beauty.

carlous Palmer Designs — uSa L’ALLE DES GRAFFITIS is a colorful collection created during COVID 19 that shows the importance of art and color when our society is in difficult times. Creating joy and art to the lives of others is my way of bringing a little wearable happiness to the world.

Selma moreno Design — Bolivia «Journey to the treasure of our roots.» Together with women artisans from indigenous communities of Bolivia we will tell stories through fabrics and embroidery. Jewelry becomes pieces of art by being carved, recycled and hand-painted horns inspired by the evolution of women’s empowerment through time in fashion, identifying beauty in its cultural roots in the 5 continents. Between jewelry and ancestral fabrics, culture becomes luxury.

niZie — crimea Nizie Emirshah is a young designer from Crimea. Her land is located between Asia and Europe, and this makes culture unique due to the combination of Eastern and Western philosophy. The collection uses a geometric cut, dresses, jackets, trousers; blouses are all created from the best eco and natural fabrics. Since I think eco is important and we must actively move towards eco and make beautiful and improve ourselves and nature.»

erin Boggs for iconic license — uSa The clothing featured in the fashion film Pražský Příběh, created by Iconic License, merges references to 18th century dress with contemporary sports uniforms; for a whimsical street wear vibe laced with regality. These ensembles become the impractical wardrobe the protagonist chooses for sampling various sports around town. Rashid O’Neal Belt shot the film in Prague, Czech Republic.

mona almansouri — abu Dhabi, nefertiti Fashion Festival in luxor — egypt «Inspired by Nefertiti, the Egyptian queen known for her beauty and style, and the old Pharaonic costume illustrations seen on the walls of 7,000 years old Egyptian temples, I created a new collection using the main 4 colors depicted on these images, mainly Gold, Turquoise, Red and Blue. The collection reflected my own vision of using these ancient characteristics in modern designs. The special setting for this collection, along with the other creations by designers from Spain and France, was the ancient Luxor temple in the city of Luxor, Egypt. This was indeed the first time ever for an International fashion show to be held in a historic location of this magnitude. With over 580 VIP attendees, including Sheikhas from the Gulf Royal families, ministers, government officials, community leaders, Middle Eastern movie industry and TV artists, the event was a true celebration for the fashion industry.»

ANNA BIHAS

18

Anna Bihas started her modeling career by accident. About two years passed after that incident, when the girl realized that she liked modeling. What is the probability of being invited as a model to a fashion show in a small town in the South of Italy without knowing Italian? This is the question Anna asks herself after her first modeling experience. She remembers only the music and the dress from her catwalk debut. But the rest details from this event such as the venue she almost forgot. Emotions and impressions after the fashion

show were so ingrained in Anna’s memory that the temptation to re peat such moments again has been prevailed. As a result, the young Ukrainian girl in Italy started looking for the ways in developing her mo deling future. According to the girl, her participation in beauty con tests was shaped her as a professional model. As Anna says: «No modeling courses or trai nings won`t teaches you, what beauty pageants could teach you, especially if they are international. Overcoming internal taboos and «I

don’t want to», the ability to fight for your place under the sun — such skills from beauty contests will be useful not only in modeling, but also in everyday life.» Already as a professional model, Anna took part in the international pageant Miss Europe Continental. For her, this was one of the most important moments, as she re presented the country where she was born — Ukraine. Prior to that, at beauty contests the girl represented Italy, where she lives. It was a very bright show, the competition gave the girl a lot of experience and a

lot of impressions, including many friends and acquaintances. After this beauty contest, a lot of new model work was added for Anna. The favorite topic of conversation with Anna is about the mountains! The girl doesn`t like to flaunt conquered peaks and goals. She doesn’t go to the mountains for that. «In the mountains, you rise or fall more inward distances to release emotional toxins, overcome your comfort zones and fears. The mountains are very charged with their energy». — says Anna. She recommends everyone to visit mi

nimum once those natural miracle. For both beginner and profes sional models, Anna advises not to lose own personality in any case. Anna’s favorite brands are the ones she has worked with, opened and closed their shows more than once. After three different photo graphers noticed Anna’s acting talent, she decided to try herself in the theater. She was interested to understand: who is she, a model or an actor? Since then, she devotes all her free time to teaching acting to various coaches and schools. As Miss Bihas says about this: «In

19 general, I recommend everyone to do theater. It’s not just about becoming an actor. Theater in general allows you to get to know yourself and listen to others better. You learn to listen and speak. And most importantly — you understand that every person, including you, has dark sides that you need to put up with». In addition to the above, Anna is also an active participant in the eco-project, which involves people in the form of games not to pollute the environment with plastic.

«In the mountains, you rise or fall more inward distances to release emotional toxins, overcome your comfort zones and fears. The mountains are very charged with their energy».

Gabriel Trelles: «Ukraine is a profitable business platform for investors!»

A Latin American businessman from Ecuador, Gabriel Trelles, likes to break the stereotypes about conducting non-traditional business in Ukraine. His areas of activity are, business development, investment projects and football representation on the world stage. In business, it is very important to have a strategic vision and use all opportunities, as well as to develop public relations and business partnerships. In business it is very important to have a good relationship with your partners, they always pull you up. All this in combination leads to results that you could not imagine. In this way, we contribute to the development of this city and the country in particular.

Gabriel, you run your business around the world. You are seriously interested in football, but today this passion has grown into a very serious business and you are agency «TG Warriors» now is business partner of the Spanish company in Madrid «Protio Sport», which operates worldwide. How did you manage to reach such a level? Our cooperation with Protio Sport began in 2011 and has been gaining momentum in the Ukrainian market since summer 2016. Realizing that Spain is the best platform in the world for the development of professional football, we, thanks to quality sports management and cooperation, sent Latin footballers there. America and Europe, which at their level showed good results. Now, together with Protio Sport, we have more than 70 players around the world. When is a player transferred, what are the key moments in the agent’s work with the player? How long does it take to create an image? Creating an image of a player can take six months or a lifetime. At this point, it is important to understand the mentality of the player and what he is focusing his efforts on. If he is looking for the strongest professional level, the money will go for him. If he is only looking for financial gain, he can achieve some success, but it should be understood that in this case, his career may not reach its full potential. I believe that footballers under the age of 25-26 should focus their efforts on the development of quality and technical play and not think about finances. The reward will surely come to him. And who is the most successful and most expensive football player in the history of the company? Lucas Perez became a player of FC Karpaty in the winter of 2011. At this stage of his football career, his market price was over 200,000 euros. Lucas then continued his career in Greece and Spain, after which, thanks to his success and professional sports management, Protio Sport, in 2016 he moved to one of the best FC in the world — the English Premier League «Arsenal». The cost of this transfer was 20 million euros. Another great example of successful work is

34

Argentine Gustavo Blanco Leschuk, for whom Ukraine was also a strong career breakthrough. In cooperation with Gustavo, we managed to make important steps in his career: from FC Karpaty, Shakhtar, Malaga (Spain) to the Turkish Super League in Antalyasport. With these examples, we show that a player’s football career can reach a world level. It all depends on international relations and the philosophy of work between the parties. Accordingly, other players, including Ukrainians, can achieve the same success. All it takes is the player’s ambitions, discipline and a shared vision with the football agent. World statistics show that today football is the largest source of funds. How do you plan to improve your position in this business? Follow the same strategy. Our task is to understand and capture the key points and take the right steps to develop a footballer’s career. When football grows, everything grows: investments, salaries, commissions, budgets. To be in this growth movement you need to be in a strong global market. One of these today is Spain. Gabriel, you have shown by your example that even a non-traditional business can be successful thanks to the right management. What can you wish to those who want to run their own business? Today is the perfect time to do business and it is available to absolutely everyone. The key in this process is communication and networking, which opens up many opportunities. If you follow these things, you can achieve the desired result. Despite the fact that we operate at the foreign economic level, and all our customers are foreigners, but investments from our projects go to Ukraine. In this way, we contribute to the development of this city and the country in particular. website (icon): www.gabrieltrelles.com instagram (icon): @gabrieltrelles_ua facebook (icon): @gabrielalejandrotrelles Foundation for Orphan Children you can support us

Fashion encompasses a little bit of everything. So yes, we are a fashion lifestyle network, but we are so much more than just that».

Hi, can you tell us how did you start your hairstylist career? My profession is designer of interiors. And I am sure it’s not my profession. But I always was interested in my hobbies. My way to become a hairstylist was difficult, because working as a designer of interior I hesitated in that and was looking for something another, pleasant for my soul. The beginning of my hairstylist career was simple and easy. I

was going to hairstyling courses and discovered I already knew all that before. All my life since my childhood I was doing something with my friends hair. But I have never consider it like something really special. By the way, last month visiting my parent I found an old photo album with photos of my first hair style in 5th form, where my class mate took a part in a Beaty contest where I was her hairstylist. What a coincidence!

Physically you can be tired, of course, but mentally never...

fashion industry after quarantine? It’s very difficult to plan something nowadays, because of we are not sure in tomorrow. But I hope all this problems will gone and we will come back to our common life. And of course, to travelling and to fashion shows as well. How Beaty salon of your dreams will look like? I have never thought about it. Maybe it can be a pink trailer and every time changing the locations. Anyway, the work in fashion shows and photo shootings are more attractive for me than the work in salon with clients. But it’s also has its own charm. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I can’t say, I don’t like to plan my life for so long time. To live now and today is what I do in life. Can you give an advice to the young hairstylist who just start? FASHION HISTORY

Haute Couture

Art in Business The term «Haute Couture» illustrates the early existence of fashion itself and its advocates, even though today couture collections are perceived as being an essential advertising tool for exceptional fashion houses — as most of the couture designers nation they don’t make any cash out of it. It is already nicely recognized that haute couture has a small clientele-no greater than 4,000 wealthy female as Nicholas Coleridge referred to in his book — The Fashion Conspiracy. CHANEL

Haute Couture started its story in France, in 1858, when the House of Charles Fredrick Worth, commonly regarded as the father of Paris couture, opened its doors. With its extravagant creations, Paul Poiret grow to be the second superb fashion legend of Paris, however was once soon deposed via the girls recognized as being the only dressmaker who created a style of her very own — Coco Chanel. According to Elaine Stone, Haute Couture or «fine sewing» is these days synonymous with high fashion. These unique designs, which use luxury fabrics and are known for their extraordinary detailing are of necessity highpriced and for that reason are made in very restrained numbers, grant suggestion for the cheaper mass market designs that dominate the trend market.

CHRISTIAN DIOR

Bernard Arnault, the head of LVMH Moët Hennessy — Louis Vuitton, presents adequate records for a individual to understand how couture traces work in practice: «Haute couture is what gives our business its vital essence of luxury. The cash it soaks up is largely irrelevant. Set towards the money we lose has to be the price of the picture couture offers us. Look at the interest the collections attract. It is the place you get noticed. You have to be there. It’s the place we set our thoughts in motion». While many legendary fashion houses have been created on the

base of couture, these days most format houses focal point solely on ready-to-wear strains as they generate the most income. Therefore, regardless of the truth that we can nevertheless witness a few haute couture suggests furnished via trend houses such as Christian Dior SA, Valentino, Armani Privé, Giambattista Valli and Elie Saab which acquire each 12 months at the Paris Haute Couture Week, the significance of haute couture collections seems to be increasingly lower. For example Givenchy announced its selection to suspend its Haute Couture line at the give up of 2012, as the company will only display its Couture garments internally to personal clients and celebrities. Givenchy is not the solely company which decided the artwork of couture is too hard to support, as in the previous decade Haute Couture homes like Balmain (2002), Yves Saint Laurent (2002) and the above stated Christian Lacroix (2009) had a similar fate.

JEAN PAUL GAULTIER

According to the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture’s respectable list for 2013, the registered haute couture fashion homes are: Chanel, Maison Martin Margiela, Christophe Josse, Rad Hourani, Frank Sorbier, Ellie Saab, Christian Dior SA, Jean Paul Gaultier, Atelier Gustavolins, Iris Herpen, Julien Fournie, Yiqing Yin, Giorgio Armani Prive, Valentino, Alexis Mabille , Alexandre Vauthier, Giambattista Valli, Bouchara Jarrar, Versace, Victor&Rolf as the

next Paris Haute Couture Week will take region between June 30 and July 5, 2013. In France, the term haute couture is covered through law and can solely be efficiently utilized to the contributors of the above list. Thus the time period can’t be applied to all the designers who produce specific customfitted clothing, even though in actuality there is a thin line between real Haute Couture garments and Couture Like ReadytoWear designed with the aid of Oscar de la Renta for instance.

VALENTINO

Therefore, as the world evolves, Haute Couture starts offevolved to have different meanings for oneofa kind people. There have been superb debates regarding the term of couture and the significance of couture lines for the trend industry. While many voices nation that as it is now, couture is the essence of fashion; there are additionally many voices that advocate couture be reinvented. For instance Colin McDowell an already common contributing editor at The Business of Fashion made an fascinating point in an article called in some way roughly «Is Haute Couture Poised for Reinvention or Irrelevance?». on the genuine state of affairs of Haute Couture enterprise which, as we know, is represented through a the small crew of people who have become complacent, which is the worst factor that can manifest to creativity anywhere. Although he doesn’t share the precise opinion as Oscar de la Renta who sees no factor in growing haute couture clothes at all, the thinking of reinvention is really emphasized. There is no doubt that rising countries such as Russia, China and India have now started to advance an intensive wish for luxury and couture as more and extra female have begun to find the money for having artwork in their wardrobes. Therefore, there is an apparent need for these nations to increase their very own couture houses, so they could deliver innovation in an enterprise that looks to promote anything however new talents. The creativity of younger people with capabilities and dedication for the art of crafting can be used to reinvent and even relocate perhaps the greatest phenomenon of the whole fashion industry which is couture. And whilst the thinking of alternate is part of the contemporary world we live in, Haute Couture ambassadors are nonetheless having the closing word as they are the symbol of what sincerely capacity fashion elite, exclusivity and quality.

Jessica, you have a great experiance in fashion events and model contests organization. How did you learn that? Since 4 years of age I have been modeling till I turned 14. Being just 10 years old I became a child role model and instructor for kids models. At 14 years old I became assistant of choreographer at one of the biggest modeling contest of the world «Best Model of the World». You are amazing at ramp during your catwalk. Who is your top-5 of runway models? I have a lot of practise and since my childhood I looked up to my favorite muses: Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, Kate Moss, Adriana Lima, Heidi Klum. As we know, you are fashion choreographer at Future Fashion Faces World. Please, tell us about the difference between working with kids and adults models. Working with kids is definitely more enjoyable and energetic, but it’s rather more difficult. Kid’s energy can be so exhausting sometimes. Kids require a little bit more of work because sometimes our youngest models are age of 4, you can imagine 4 year child on the stage? But they are so cute I always loved to work with kids. The difference is that kids need more explanation and more patience in the job. Do you believe in friendship in fashion business? Yes I believe friendship exists in fashion industry. Although there is so much envy inside this business, models are making a very good friendships, because everyone needs a little bit of support from time to time. What is the hardest moment in organization for you? The hardest moment in organizations is the beginning for me. Why the beginning, because each model from all around the world has a different style of catwalk and skills, but for the concept of one great show all the models must work and walk as one. At the same time they have to keep their own personality as models, that’s why this is the hardest moment. As a jury, which qualities do you appreciate the most in models? As I said above, each model has its own personality, at the same time they must be the chameleon in their self, and the ability to transform into the designers and choreographers concept for the fashion show, or shootings. This is a very thin line to accomplish, not all of the models can do it. This is what I am looking for in each model no matter child or adult.

69

JURY SMW What is your plan for next 5 years? Next 5 years. It’s a very interesting question, for sure I will continue develop myself into the fashion business, since the late world situation of Covid -19, we all have to be chameleons…
