Later, she checked on it, but it had been taken. ď Ž 5900 block of Roswell Road 30328 – On June 15, a silver Toyota Camry was stolen ď Ž 8700 block of Roswell Road 30350 – On June 15, a man was arrested after he stole a sandwich at Publix. ď Ž 8700 block of Roswell Road 30350 – On June 15, a grocery store manager said a former employee was in the store and tried to steal a box of Gillette Fusion razors valued at just under $29. He was confronted at the customer service desk and ed before police arrived. ď Ž 6000 block of Roswell Road 30328 –

On June 16, a grey 2012 Nissan Rogue was stolen.

ď Ž 8100 block of Colquitt Road 30350 – On June 2,7 a man reported that someone took his Mitsubishi Montero. ď Ž 1100 block of Perimeter Center West 30328 – On June 27, an employee of a company reported that someone took two laptops and a webcam from the ofďŹ ce area.

ď Ž 6300 block of Powers Ferry Road 30328 – On June 17, a 50-year-old man reported that someone entered an unlocked construction trailer and took an iPad. The iPad GPS was then tracked from that location to Rolling View Drive in Smyrna, and then to the 2400 block of Spring Drive in Smyrna. He said he suspects two people who were on the site earlier and left about the time the theft occurred. ď Ž 6500 block of Roswell Road 30328 – On June 18, a cellphone was reported taken from a restaurant. The victim placed the phone on the counter to pick up her order, and when she turned around, the phone was gone. The phone was later traced to a condominium at in the 6700 block of Roswell Road. ď Ž A donut shop on Northridge Road report-

ed that on June 25, just before 10 a.m., a man took the tip jar and disappeared in the bathroom only to return with a now-empty tip jar.

ď Ž 6300 block of Peachtree Dunwoody Road 30328 – On June 26, a white, 2007 GMC Yukon Denali was stolen. ď Ž 4900 block of High Point Road 30342 – On June 26, a 2000 Honda Civic was taken. ď Ž 7800 block of Roswell Road 30350 – On June 26, a man arrived at a convenience shop around 9 a.m. and pulled into the gas pump area. He left the keys in the car when he walked inside the store. He looked outside to ďŹ nd the pump number and discovered his car was gone. The car was tracked to Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard in Atlanta. ď Ž 1st block of Concourse Parkway 30328 – On June 26, an employee of the Maid Brigade Co. reported that a projector, two laptops and a laptop bag were stolen from the company’s ofďŹ ce. ď Ž 1100 block of Mount Vernon Highway 30328 – On June 26, a man reported that

while he was at a gym, he locked his gym bag in the locker and worked out. On return, the locked locker was open and the bag was gone.

July 1, a man reported that a woman took a camera and two lenses in addition to a computer tablet from his apartment. The woman came into town after meeting the victim on Facebook and becoming employed in his moving and cleaning business. The victim received a text from the woman, who said she would return the items. He knows her name by her Facebook name, which is not the same name she gave him. He doesn’t know much else about her, except that she was arrested in Mississippi or Louisiana sometime in the past. For what, he doesn’t know.

ď Ž 300 block of Winding River Drive 30350 – On July 1, cops were called in reference to someone stealing power from another apartment. They spoke with a woman who ran an extension cord from her apartment to another. She said it must be a mix-up with the power company. She was given a citation for theft and a court date to appear. ď Ž 500 block of Glenforest Road 30328 – On July 1, someone broke into the pool area of the Hammond Hills Swim and Tennis Club and stole approximately $100 from a locked box.

AS S AULT ď Ž Cedar Run 30350 – On June 14, a man reported that around 2:15 a.m. he was in his car driving on North River Drive when a Chevy Impala pulled up next to him. In the other car, a man he knew as “Memphisâ€? pulled a gun and pointed it at him. He said he was in fear for his life and for that of his 10-year-old child. The complainant said he was out to buy cigarettes for his girlfriend at that hour. ď Ž 300 block of Granville Court 30328 – On June 14, a woman reported that during the night, she was sleeping and her boyfriend of seven months came home drunk. Her boyfriend pulled the covers off her three times. Each time, she pulled the covers back over her, which enraged him. He crawled up on top of her and struck her several times in the face. The victim’s 19-year-old daughter heard the noise, came into the room, and witnessed the assault. The man was arrested for domestic violence and jailed. ď Ž On June 14 – around 6 p.m. in the Huntcliff community, the lifeguard reported that due to a power outage, the pool pumps were not working, therefore the pool had to be closed.
