Minutes from previous AGM No Minutes are present at the meeting 3. Matters Arising No matters arising as no minutes available 4. Chairs Report Megan Wallace > A year tomorrow (28/04/11) RYV held an open night at the council chambers, we gained new members after holding this event RYV went on the fire reach programme, which is a day event organised by RYV and Stathclyde Fire & Rescue where the members would become trainee fire fighters for the day, activities included hose drills, rolling out lengths of hose and also RYV visited Cowcaddens where the fire training centre is based, RYV members have done 2 activities at Cowcaddens which were The Rat Run where you had to find your way out of a dark complex of a small ventilation shaft and a dark tunnel where you had to navigate through and find a casualty, RYV members have been heavily involved in “No Knives, Better Lives” Campaign, The Knife Crime DVD has finished, also attended an event at Saint Mirren Football Club grounds where RYV met Justice Minister. And finally we welcomed our new MSYP’s 5. Secretary’s Report Newsletter sent out “Good Response” also gave presentation at the Local Area Committee Meetings Tony asks “What’s the plans for the RYV Newsletter in the future” Stephen Replies “Nothing has been set at the moment”
Been an easy year for the secretary this year 6. Treasurers Report The Treasurerâ€™s report has been postponed to the next meeting as the Treasurer is not present 7. Election of new office barers 5 Positions Available -

Hua thanks the existing Megan and the other RYV executive members for their hard work throughout the year Chair Position Amendments: None Hannah > Committed to the position, Enjoys a new challenge Jennifer > Not Present Kelly > Loves the group and would like to see what itâ€™s like to be on the RYV executive Ryan > Want to hear what young people have to say and continue with what Megan has done previously Stephen > would like to engaged with more young people The vote for the chair has been cast and the new chair for this year will be: Ryan Morrison Vice Chair Position Amendments: Change Laura to Hannah Adam > Had experience with this sort of position before and would like to work with RYV more closely Jennifer > Enjoy RYV and wants experience before applying for SYP Hannah > Committed to the position, Enjoys a new challenge
