MASTER PROJECT

Smart technologies have opened many doors. They have enabled for many things to be taylored to the needs of users and have increased connectivity between people(s). Architecture has lagged behind in these respects. This project is an architectural expression of the charms of individualism which smart technology has enabled: the iGlobe. The iGlobe is a self-sufficient mobile home with moveable plumbing facilities, in which the wall panels can be dragged out to form rooms and removed to create furniture. The location and interior are thereby fully customizable. The iGlobe can connect to a specially designed site and share resources with other iGlobes if desired. Due to the mobility of the home, this connection can also be made in a high-rise form, suitable for denser urban settings. The site thus becomes a reflection of its amount of residents and the way they interact.

house agriculture. This project explores how the concept of resilience can be applied to the architecture of greenhouses to combat the threat of climate change, resulting in the Greenerhouse. In this context, the following definitions have been applied:

Definition 1: Absorb and redirect the energy of the threat into utility/benefit. Definition 2: Social awareness and cooperation to deal with changing conditions.

The Greenerhouse is an inhabitable greenhouse in which closed-loop agriculture is practised. The excesses that are inherent to the greenhouse typology, such as heat, are transmitted to

An example of this can be found in the matrix, in which it is viisble that during the Renaissance a room of the house was devoted solemnly to cooking, whereas a polyvalent room with a fireplace was used for this purpose during the Middle Ages
