LOMITA From a simple ranch house to a sleepy narrow gauge electric railroad stop and a handful of roads named after trees and fruits, Lomita has grown into a small city that, in spite of it's growth, has maintained it's rustic, small-town flavor. The Lomita railroad museum still stands today as a testament to the city's history. Lomita might be one of the smallest cities in the area, and this fact is part of the area charm. As with Neighboring cities, residents have access to an eclectic blend of restaurants, recreation opportunities, and major commuting freeways. Real estate offerings are a blend of single-family and attached homes that are perfect for families, professionals, and investors.
