To my utter delight this book wraps around the irrelevant title like a comfy pair of slippers on a cold winter morning. The characters burst from the comic strips with the craziest of abstract bizzareness, a true gem in the world of far out imagination. The book brings to life the mind of a comic mastermind; filled with the strangest looking beasts in the most absurd situations, its sure to keep you giggling like a small child for a good few hours. Within it are some of Roger’s best works, including Sparky Watts, Babe, Dudley and much more. It’s beautifully designed and also holds a load of unpublished art and vintage photos including pieces from the first modern news stand comic book that Rogers did in 1935.
