NEWS AND NOTES FROM CHERRY CREEK SHOPPING CENTER

FROM LONDON TO DENVER We’re longtime fans of British fragrance brand Jo Malone London. In fact, we’d spot the familiar scent of Malone’s Orange Blossom a mile away. Now, we can revel in all of the Jo Malone goodness we wish with the opening of the company’s brand new retail concept at Cherry Creek Shopping Center in late November. The new boutique will give customers the chance to discover the brand in an elevated, new environment that mixes English classicism with modern light and space. Inside, guests will find their favorite perfumes and colognes, bath and body items, decadent gifts and home fragrances, all styled within the boutique’s well designed space that juxtaposes heritage furnishings with stark contemporary elements, creating a destination where shopping becomes inspiring. From advice on styling a scented statement through Malone’s “Joy of Fragrance Combining” to finding a personalized gift, or simply indulging in a relaxing hand and arm massage at the Tasting Bar, the boutique is much more than a shop, but rather a bespoke experience.

WHERE FASHION MEETS ART Vancouver, Canada-based Aritzia has opened its stylish doors in Denver – and we couldn’t be happier. Known for its well constructed, beautifully designed contemporary women’s clothing, Aritizia’s Cherry Creek boutique is perfectly inviting, with a mix of local influences, natural materials, custom furniture and art. Inside, the label’s mix of 13 in-house brands - each of which has its own distinctive look, creative team and name – is rounded out by favorites that complement the Aritizia look. Think Citizens of Humanity, Adidas and Agolde among others. The common thread across all of the shop’s brands is a near obsession with quality and details, and it shows. We love the well constructed coats and blazers from the Wilfred brand mixed with perfectly constructed cashmere sweaters. But the clothing isn’t the only showstopper in the space. All of Aritzia’s 90 boutiques across North America are peppered with original paintings, sculpture and prints. Even the shopping bags serve as a canvas for creative expression. This season, you’ll find iconic fine art and fashion photographer Juergen Teller’s work adorning Aritzia’s bags.
