1789 Thanksgiving Proclamation Now, therefore, I do
recommend and assign Thursday, the 26th day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war;... – 1st President George Washington
Attendance When you hear that sniffle or cough and decide not to send your child to school please call the attendance line. The number is (509)888-1730. Please do this by 9:00am so your child is counted as an excused absence by the automated computer system. Just a reminder, students can not excuse themselves.

Spills, tears, rips, and accidents seem to happen. So if you can, please bring your hand me down clothing (and coats!) to the main office. Thank you!
• WeCARE Sports
PTO is now on
• Wenatchee Wild game!
With the cost of copies it is the goal of PTO to cut back. It would be nice to eventually be paperless. So, come check us out on Facebook. Search, Lee PTO.
Plus much more! Childcare will be provided. We appreciate parent input and look forward to seeing you.
PTO News: The Veteran’s Assembly was very patriotic! Great job Mrs. Haven!
Food/Toy Drive We will be collecting your generous donations of non-perishable foods and toys beginning on Nov. 30th . Important items of need include: toiletries, canned foods, and toys. These items will go into the Christmas baskets upon delivery.
The Hat Project!
Lee PTO is prepping for the Christmas baskets again! We are looking for shoppers who would like to volunteer their time to shop for Lee families. We also need child sponsorship. If your business or family would like to sponsor a child please contact the PTO. We will be discussing this further at our November PTO meeting.
Has your child come home with a mysterious knitted or crocheted hat this year? If so, you can thank the wonderful talent of Aida Bound and her fellow hatmakers. These ladies spend their time keeping the heads of children warm and toasty. They are requesting donations of yarn and/or gas cards to continue their quest to warm our schoolchildren.
Student Arrival Time Students are not to arrive before 8:10am unless they are eating breakfast at Lee. There is not supervision until that time.
Brr r r r ... I t’s getting colder!
Please don’t forget that your little ones bundle up before they head off to school! That means coats, hats, and gloves. Jack Frost seems to have been nipping at their noses early this year. It would also be helpful for Lee School if parents would write students names inside of coats. This way when your child comes home without a coat it will be much easier to get it back where it belongs!
