Romero House 20th Anniversary Celebration
We are excited to welcome you and our fellow alumni back to Regis University for this celebration weekend! Here is the updated schedule of events for our time together: Thursday, November 8th 7:00p.m. “Archbishop Romero’s Legacy Alive at Regis: Faith Doing Justice,” St. John Francis Chapel Hear from Fr. Kevin Burke, S.J., one of the founding influences of the Romero House, about how the spirit of Romero lives at Regis today. Reception to follow. Friday, November 9th 12:15Words from El Salvador with Rosa Anaya, Faculty Lounge (Student Center) 1:30p.m. Visiting us from El Salvador, Rosa shares her story and human rights work. Rosa’s father, Herbert Anaya, was President of the Human Rights Commission and assassinated in 1987. Please feel free to bring your meal, or lunch is available for purchase in the Main Café. 2:303:30p.m.
“Since the House” with Nate Jacobi, 2nd Floor Lounge (Student Center) Spend time with Nate Jacobi, Romero House Coordinator (‘03-’05), to reflect on how Romero House can remain present in your life today.
Happy Hour, Walker’s Pub (Student Center) Enjoy a drink while catching up with fellow alumni in the new student pub. Community Dinners, various locations Join others from your year for dinner, or connect with those from other years.
Saturday, November 10th 10:30a.m.- Morning of Service and Lunch, Denver area 12:30p.m. Meet on the west side of Claver Hall (formerly ALC). Spend time with one another while serving those in our local Denver community. Sack lunch will be provided. 4:006:00p.m.
Open House at Romero House, Romero House (5201 Julian) Connect with current Romero House students. Park on campus, west of Claver Hall (ALC), and follow signs in NE corner to the house, as there is no additional street parking available at the house.
Happy Hour, Room 333 (Main Hall) Join fellow alumni and friends of the Romero House for a cocktail hour.
Banquet Dinner, Room 333 (Main Hall) Enjoy a traditional Salvadoran meal and hear Romero House alumni, Lauri and Chris Pramuk.

Mass Celebrating UCA Martyrs, St. John Francis Chapel Join us in remembrance as Fr. Kevin Burke, S.J. presides over this Mass to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the killings at the University of Central America.
Brunch, Main Café (Student Center) Enjoy a Sunday brunch, available for purchase in the Main Café, through Bon Appetit.
