FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK A NEW THING The book of Isaiah 43:19” says “Behold, I will do a ‘New Thing”, now it shall spring forth, shall ye not know it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” It is the beginning of a New Year 2012 and many have made their New Year ‘s resolutions and are looking forward to great things for this year. Resolutions made are often times broken because of lack of commitment, motivation, loss of interest and so many other reasons. Yet as children of the Most High God, we have the “blessed assurance “of knowing that when our Heavenly Father makes a promise to us, HIS WORD cannot return void but it must accomplish everything it has set out to do. For 2012 we are expecting God to do A NEW THING in us at RLM Inc. The word NEW can be defined as –Not existing before; made, introduced, or discovered recently or now for the first time. Reflecting on some of the challenges that we encountered in 2011, there are probably many who do not want to go back to what they faced then. We have all had our wilderness experiences and journeys through various valleys and at times it seemed as if the storms would never cease and like the children of Israel we may have found ourselves asking why me Lord? However the same power that made a way in the sea can make a way in the wilderness, and He that made dry land in the waters, can produce waters in the dryest land. God is able to do just what he said he would do. He’s able to do a new thing in your life in 2012. Can you trust him? Our young people are fired up and excited at the second edition of the Youth project RE-GENERATION MAGAZINE. This collaborative effort of young minds working together, blending talents and gifts with the anointing, has again chosen to declare boldly that “JESUS CHRIST IS LORD” to the world. This R-ighteousl y E-xal ted Ge nerati on in this New Year, in this New Season, have recommitted, reconnected and rededicated themselves to the work of The Kingdom Of God . Filled with the Holy Spirit they now thrust themselves into the New Year with the Spirit of Expectancy anticipating the Blessings and Power of God to be Manifested tangibly amongst them and their peers. We continue to lift them up daily in our prayers and hope that as they minister to God via this medium of an internet magazine, they may touch, impact and inspire you in their ministry. Blessed with the privilege of being the Shepherd that watches over these young ones I take this time to encourage other youth around the world to get up and do your duty to God. Serve him by using your gifts and talents to His glory. Don’t sit on them, your voice needs to be heard. R-igh teousl y E-xalted G eneration-continue spreading the good news about Jesus Christ and him crucified. Team leaders you are a constant source of inspiration to our young people. Thanks for all that you do in the Kingdom. Continue in excellence as unto the Lord. As we speak into existence the Manifold blessings of God in 2012 upon the youth department of RLM we command the favor of God to also be your portion. May all that you do prosper and give God glory. You are loved, needed, wanted and appreciated. It’s a New season, it’s a New day, A fresh ANOINTING, is coming your way, It’s a season of POWER and PROSPERITY , It’s a new season coming to YOU!! A message from 1st Thessalonians 5:15 There are three philosophies of life or three standards of conduct. The pagan world operates on a philosophy which does evil in spite of good. In other words, you get the other fellow before he gets you. Use any kind of method. He may have treated you well, but if you can get the advantage over him, do that. That is pagan and heathen philosophy. Then there is the standard of the so-called refined, cultured, and educated world. That is, do good to those who do good to you. Jesus said, "And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? For sinners also do even the same" (Luke 6:33). The political parties in our countries operate on that principle. If one person helps a man to get into political office, the politician reciprocates by offering the man a job or office. You take care of your own. That is the philosophy of the so-called civilized world. The Christian is to live under a different standard. We are to do good to those who do evil to us. That is contrary to the natural man. The minute someone hits us, we just naturally want to hit him back. This is the philosophy that Paul is talking about -- "See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good" -- even to those who do evil to you. In the text we read about UNRULYNESS: Those who are out of step. Those who like to do their own thing rather than support the work which God is doing We read about the FEEBLEMINDED: Fainthearted, people who are fearful to move out for God and they need encouragement. We are encouraged to SUPPORT THE WEAK: There are those who are weak in the faith, they cannot get in step because they are little babies. They are not able to march with the rest so we should help them, lift them up and carry them along. BE PATIENT TOWARDS ALL MEN: We should try not to loose our temper; this is so difficult not to do! In business or in our relationship with people, we meet ungodly, unholy, cantankerous, unsaved people who are definitely trying to trip us or to abuse us in some form and it becomes very difficult to be patient and not to loose our tempers. But God commands us to be patient with everybody. SEE THAT NONE RENDER EVIL FOR EVIL UNTO ANY MAN: In other words – don’t fight one another, but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves and to all men. Congratulations to RLM youth on their second Magazine! God’s richest blessings! Pastor Stephen Lewis

C HRISTIAN L AW A SSOCIATON Since 1969, CLA has been providing free legal assistance to Bible -believing churches and Christians who are experiencing difficulty in practicing their religious faith because of governmental regulation, intrusion, or prohibition in one form or another. ( This association is to preserve Christian Liberty to Children and Grandchildren. CLA received in excess of 100,000 phone calls annually, not counting the thousands of pieces of correspondence from those who are in some way facing legal diffi-

culties for doing what the Bible commands. These cases involve Christians arrested for witnessing to others in public, public school students being told they do not have the right to read their Bibles at school, churches being excluded from communities, Christians being fired for sharing their faith at work, and thousands of other shocking assaults on our precious religious freedoms. CLA provides free legal services based in part on the generosity of God's people. Your contribution to CLA is 501(c)(3) tax deductible.

My Thoughts The CLA helps against the law trying to shut down churches. I believe they are for a good cause and should continue Justice for Churches who are here just to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. I Believe also that the Law should not interfere with Gods work. The CLA is also working to keep the right for students to have bibles in school.

H ISTORY OF CLA. The founder of CLA is Dr. David C. Gibbs, Jr. More than 40 years ago, the ministry of Christian Law Association effectively began with a phone call from a pastor in Ohio. As a young attorney, David C. Gibbs, Jr. could hardly believe his ears as the pastor relayed how his

church was being sued by the state for operating its ministry. As he reviewed the legal documents, Dr. Gibbs was astonished that such a thing could happen in modern America. From that very first case through the present day, God has blessed Dr. Gibbs' commitment to legally

help churches, pastors, and Christians free of charge. The ministry has grown substantially through God's blessing over the last 40 years as attorneys, legal assistants, and other ministry workers have joined our team of "legal missionaries."

How does this association really help us?

What will happen if the CLA discontinues?

What will the CLA do for future generations?

Dance In Worship

Tameka Green

“And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.”

Behind Dance Volume 1, Issue 2

The nation of Israel has used dance as a form of worship throughout their history. Several places within the Bible make reference to the use of dance as a form of worship.

Many Christians are opposed to dance because of what the world has done with it. However, just because Satan has perverted something, doesn’t mean that we as Christians should stop using it for God’s glory. One of the things that King David is known for in the Bible is his praise and worship. Much of the book of Psalms (songs of praises) was written by him. Today, the resurgence of dance, and other forms of the arts being used in worship in Christian churches is referred to as the reinstatement of Davidic worship. King David himself danced before the

Lord, when he brought the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem. There is something about dance that will take any worship service into a higher level than it can otherwise reach. One person truly dancing before the Lord (not before man) can take the entire congregation farther into His throne room, than they would other-

wise have gone. When God directs, He does it in detail. Ask Him to show you how to dance and allow Him to teach you the movements to make. If God does it, anything that you do will fit the music, the tone of the meeting, and the flow of what the Holy Spirit is working to accomplish in that srevice.

Who Can Dance? Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” The only true requirement to be a praise dancer is a willingness to be empty of self, so

that you can become full of Him. Ability, training, talent, or gracefulness aren’t requirements, just a heart that truly wants to worship the Lord. In fact, training, talent, and ability can get in the way, because they can be the tools that Satan

uses to bring pride into our dance, instead of a heart of worship.

Behavior Romans 12: 2 - "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Christian teens hear a lot about "Godly behavior," but often wonder what that actually means. As Christians we are asked to live to a higher standard, because we are representatives of God on Earth. So striving to live a God-centered life is important, because when we exhibit Godly behavior we are providing a good witness to those around us. 1 Peter 2:12 - "Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us." Behavior is the way we act; the things we do and say. For example, you can see behavior in facial expressions, hand gesture, eye contact and words of choices. Behavior generally follows attitude because we tend to behave due to the way we feel. We all can control our behaviors because it’s our conscious mind that determines how we act. By controlling our behavior, we can control our attitudes. We can choose how we want to feel by choosing the way we behave. The affective way to change is starting with our behavior first. This is a much more active way of taking control of our life circumstances, and the better part is that our attitudes will change to reflect our new behavior. Behavior can follow attitude but only if you focus on taking control of your behavior so that your attitude follows, you’ll begin to see shifts in every area of your spiritual life. God expects Christian teens to live by a higher standard. This means that God wants us to be examples of Christ rather than living by the world's standards. Reading your Bible, praying, and doing regular devotions are helpful ways to know God's expectations and live a life focused on God. Ephesians 5:8 - "For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!"

In all we do we must remember to Bring Glory to The King of Kings. Even though they are athletes they must remember who God is and he deserves praise from them no matter what they do. Now to some News.

ACCORING TO HEADLINES In Basketball, Lamar Odom returns to his home team the Los Angeles Lakers; but this time as a guest. He does not feel content with were he is as a player for the Dallas Mavericks now. The question is will Odom get used to this team or play rocky for this season and seasons to come? We will have to wait and see about that. In other news Kobe Bryant is now officially on the top scourers board scoring over 28,000 career points. Standing ovation to the future Hall-of-Famer.

In Football News, The New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers added some spice to the National Football League (NFL) postseason with respective wins over the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints but the Patriots (13-3) and Ravens (12-4) were as reliable as their records. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady put on a clinic with six touchdown passes to tie an NFL playoff record in a 45-10 win over the Denver Broncos on Saturday.

My Thoughs

I think some of these players need to realize if it wasn't for Jesus they would not be playing any of these sports. No matter how much money you get, you still need to remember the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and put him first in all you do.

Investments Investment has different meanings in finance and economics. Finance investment is putting money into something with the expectation of gaining. Now that I had highlighted the basic of investment, let me talk about ''An Eternal Investment'' Investment in Christ. Jesus Christ Himself is the supreme treasure in heaven promised to us; however there are some investments we have to make to achieve Jesus Christ. We have to investment our lives in him; there are some steps in doing so. First you need salvation to achieve internal life. We spoke about Finance investment is putting money into something with the expectation of gaining. When is come to salvation there is no putting money, because salvation is free. Salvation is free because Jesus Christ had pay that bill a long time ago; When God send his only son to die on the cross to save us from our sins. St John 3 vs 16 tells us. Many people think they have to fix their lives before doing so But No. Come as you are, Matthew 6:33 seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all other things shall be added unto you. I am not going tell you it’s going to be easy. The devil is going to come at you from every angle. That’s why we have to put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. The belt: "Stand firm in the belt of truth buckled around your waist" Ephesians 6:14 always stay on the side of truth in all things and stand firm in it. The breastplate: "with the breastplate of righteousness in place," Ephesians 6:14 Always doing the right thing in all things. Be a good Christian. Have salvation in your heart and keep it as your goal. Readiness: "and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace." Ephesians 6:15 Always know and share the gospel be-

cause it is true peace. Also stand firm against the enemy, and never be worried, have the peace of Christ in your heart. The shield: "take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one." Ephesians 6:16 Always keeping faith because this protects you from the evil one. Remember your reward and have faith in it. Believe and trust in God. The helmet: "Take the helmet of salvation." Ephesians 6:17 Keep the goal of salvation on your mind remember that serving God faithfully is your goal. # The sword of the Spirit: take "the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

You and your money!!!!!!!!!! JARED HODGE

Good ways to save your money. For a long time I normally used to spend as soon as I as get it. I never really had anything to save.. So one day my dad told me “Save up until you have twice the amount of money so then you will be able to get what you want still be able to have money left over. I tried it and I had was able to get some school lunch and go to the movies with my friends.

In Isaiah 51:3, the prophet said that God will restore Israel and make it a paradise, like the garden of Eden. This foreshadows what is currently happening in Israel. The Jews have been irrigating, cultivating and reconditioning the land during much of the 1900s.

Coming Back to Christ Do you remember when you were little and when you were in the supermarket with your mom you would get distracted by something and you were so busy focusing on what you were looking at that you did not even notice your mom was gone and by the time you were ready to go back to your mom she was nowhere to be found? Well that’s how it is with God , He wants us to stick with Him in whatever we do and when the devil comes along with temptation we get distracted and lose interest in what is really important. The road to God is not easy, it is narrow and bumpy and there are going to be so many things that come our way that is going to throw us off track and to make us sin, but it is our job to try and dodge those bullets and to jump over those hurdles, we have to please God in any way that we possibly can. The thing is though when we get to the end of the road we get to go to heaven and live with God for eternity. God gave us the power of choice, so we can choose the bumpy road or we can choose a broad smooth road where all we do is have fun without thinking about whether or not what we are doing is pleasing to the Lord, and when we get to the end of the road we go to live with the devil in eternal damnation, so whatever we do it is our choice. So you are in the supermarket all alone, you’re this little kid in this huge store all by yourself and you’re scared, the first thing you will probably do is try to find your mom so you leave the aisle you’re in and then you start walking around, but to your relief your mom was just in the next aisle. This situation is also like God, when we get off the road God we can’t see God but he is never too far away. He is always close by waiting for us to come back to Him. We are human and it is our nature to sin and to stray every once in a while, but the point is to always get yourself back on track. In Luke 15:11-32 is the story Prodigal Son. It is about a young man who left home to live his own life and to have fun, he made his own mistakes and learned his lessons and when he realized that he had sinned he came home and admitted what he did was wrong and asked God for forgiveness. The Bible says that “For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. We are human and it is our nature to sin and to stray every once in a while, but the point is to always get yourself back on track Joel 2:12-13 Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

Nedeen Wright RLM Youth Leader Team Diamond Here at RLM Ministries the youth are a vibrant group that has been set apart to be used by God. They are ready to be used in any area of ministry. They can be found volunteering at the Rem Kicks adult day care facility, ministering in song to the elderly, reaching out to the community by giving out tracks, cleaning up the church every Friday, composing and singing their own songs, or putting the youth magazine together. These are just some of the areas the youth of RLM are prepared to labor for God, because they know “Little is much when God is in it.” They are not afraid to utilize the talents that God has given them. As their youth leader I am very proud of each and every one of my young people, because they have taken heed to the word of God, which informs them that they are “The light upon a hill that cannot be hidden.” This gives us self-assurance as we go about fulfilling Gods call upon our lives. When this confidence is evident to others, the lost will look to us for direction, as it is written, “I have come as a light unto the world.”(John 12:46). The youth of RLM know that they have a holy calling to be the light of the world. So RLM youth lift up your light that the world may see you leading others out of darkness towards Jesus the light of the world.
