Projector

The Redwoods has a LCD projector, DVD player and screen which is available for use to all weddings for their special day. A slideshow is the perfect way for your guests to see pictures of the two of you throughout the years and it will provide them with a snapshot of your lives together. All you need to do is simply put together a presentation of your favourite photos, burn the slideshow onto a DVD disc and bring to our facility. We will take it from there as you enjoy your unforgettable show. The results will leave a lasting impression on your guests.

Ceremony Garden

Earliest commencement of ceremonies on site, 3:00pm. Ceremony garden can accommodate up to 200 guests. Only available when booking your reception at The Redwoods. Ceremony garden set up includes white bistro guest chairs and registry table. Additional tables may also be requested prior to the function date. Power is available at the ceremony garden. Photo sites are available surrounding the clubhouse and ceremony garden areas. Confetti is strictly prohibited. Please refer to decoration permissions. Complimentary ceremony rehearsal.

Marquis Event Tent

Event tent seats a maximum of 200 guests at round tables which seat 8. Earliest start time for a reception booked is 3:00pm. Includes white mini lights and ivy hanging baskets in addition to microphone and podium. Tent walls have large windows; walls may be conveniently open or closed. Includes set up and takedown of all tables. All tables include linen tablecloths and linen napkins. Redwoods’ own Event Coordinator on site. Banquet Manager on staff until the end of the reception.


Terms & Conditions Catering Information • All food & beverages served at The Redwoods Golf Course are to be provided by The Redwoods. No food or beverages can be removed or brought on to the premises with the exception of wedding cakes. • Certain dietary substitutions may be made with prior request. Any guest food allergy requirements must be identified a minimum of 14 days prior to the reception date. • Menu & rental prices are subject to change. All menu selections and other detailed info as needed by the Redwoods Event Coordinator are required 14 days prior to the wedding date. • The Redwoods Golf Course does not set up wedding cakes (with the exception of the Sapphire and Diamonds & Pearls packages). It is recommended that cakes are delivered by the baker at the time they should be set out in the reception area. They may be delivered earlier and stored in our cooler assuming that someone in the wedding party is designated responsible for set up and that is it stored in an enclosed sturdy container. • Wedding cakes will be cut and served at no additional charge. • If the Sapphire or Diamonds & Pearls package is selected then all wedding cake requirements and information must be obtained through the baking company provided through The Redwoods, the company selected is subject to change. The Redwoods vendor will contact the client/organizer to set up all selections and timing requirements. • Wedding cake upgrades are available through the Redwoods. Any upgrade charges are paid by the client/organizer to the Redwoods Golf Course. • All quoted food & beverage prices are subject to the appropriate tax and a 15% service charge. Function Guarantees • A minimum of 120 guests is required on a Saturday, a Sunday of a holiday weekend, or a holiday; a minimum of 100 guests is required for any other day of the week for the use of the Marquis Event Tent. • A non-refundable deposit of $2500 is required to confirm all functions. $2000 will be regarded as a down payment towards the total cost of the event and $500 of the deposit will be refunded five business days after the event assuming no damages. In the case of a cancellation the $2500 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. A signed contract, terms and conditions, and estimated number of guests are also required at time of booking. • Final number of guests & full payment is due 14 days prior to function date. Clients wishing to pay by credit card must have the credit card physically present and be available to sign for the charge. • All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Miscellaneous • Children are permitted in designated function areas only and must remain under adult supervision. Please be aware of the golfers. • Any damages to the premises or property will be the responsibility of the client. The Redwoods Golf Course assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage to goods, property, and/or equipment brought into the facility by the organizer and/or guests. Any items left behind will be held at The Redwoods for pick up for up to 7 days after the event and will then be discarded. • Ceremonies and receptions are not permitted to commence any earlier than 3:00 pm. • Redwoods will provide black floor-length table linen for all additional tables (DJ, gift, buffet, etc). White table skirting can be rented for an additional charge.

Liquor • Due to LBD regulations, corkage functions are respectfully declined. Redwoods reserves the right to offer a cash bar for every banquet. • Banquet bars (hosted or cash) with net revenue of less than $1000.00 will be subject to a bartending fee of $500.00. (Bar closes at midnight) • If a host bar will be offered at the wedding, a credit card imprint of the host’s card is required a minimum of 7 days prior to the reception date with an authorized signature. The balance will be applied to the host’s credit card at the completion of the evening. • Redwoods reserves the right to discontinue service to some or all guests in violation of company policies and/or government laws. • Guests are strictly prohibited from consuming alcohol in the parking lot areas or away from the reception or clubhouse locations. • Any alcohol not purchased at Redwoods will be confiscated immediately. Music • All DJ requirements and information must be obtained through the DJ company provided through The Redwoods, the company selected is subject to change. The DJ company will contact the client/organizer directly to set up all music selections and timing requirements. • Music noise level must be under 89 decibels. Music must be turned off by midnight. • Live bands are not permitted at the reception. Live music is permitted at the ceremony only. Decor • All décor requirements and information must be obtained through the décor company provided through The Redwoods. The company selected is subject to change. The décor company will contact the client/organizer directly to set up all décor selections and timing requirements. • Decorations must meet the standards of The Redwoods Golf Course and must be approved by the Redwoods Event Coordinator. Nails or screws are not permitted on the ceremony area or buildings. Decorations may not be taped onto tent walls. Confetti may not be used; there is a clean-up fee of $350.00 if used. Candles are permitted but must be dripless and have an enclosed flame, votives or tea lights are recommended. • Decorating upgrades are available through the Redwoods. Any upgrade charges are paid by the client/organizer to The Redwoods. • All bookings must permit the use of chairs at both the ceremony and reception sites. Chair covers included in your selected package are for reception and aisle and back row of the ceremony chairs only. You may opt to rent additional chair covers for the ceremony site. Redwoods will not transfer chairs from one location to the other unless required by The Redwoods only. Flowers • If the Diamonds & Pearls package is selected then all wedding flower requirements and information must be obtained through the floral company provided through Redwoods, the company selected is subject to change. The Redwoods vendor will contact the client/organizer to set up all selections and timing requirements. • Floral upgrades are available through the Redwoods. Any upgrade charges are paid by the client/organizer to the Redwoods Golf Course.
