First film I contested at Star Tourism Contest, judged by director K.Raghavendra. Though I didn’t win the contest, he offered me a role in Raja Kumarudu starring Mahesh Babu.
Modelling My uncle told me about the Grasim Mr.India contest when I was 18. I then clicked a few pictures and sent it to the organisers, got selected and won the Best Catwalk, Best Photogenic Face and All India Top Six Contestant.
TV My father Mr.M.Sundaraiah is a renowned theatre artiste and won numerous awards. I did a lot of plays with him. He directed & played a lead role in series Evanni Chedanunchu. And I played his son’s role. That was my first stint as a child artiste. Later, I got a lead role in Gemini TV’s show Chakravakam. It was the talk of the town & the only serial to reach 18 TRP. My character garnered many fans.
Formative years Born and brought up in Vizag, I lived in BHV Township. I studied at BHV High School and later pursued B.Tech from AU. I was a brilliant child- be it in academics or sports; occupying the top positions. I was a national level badminton player and even played with the likes of Chetan Anand.
REWIND
What next My priority now is to meet all those who supported & voted for me. I have been signed as an ambassador for more than 12 brands. I am shooting for that. I plan to start an academy to provide a common platform for the upcoming talent. It will be a one-stop hub for the film fraternity.
Any plans of foraying into politics? I am getting good offers but haven’t given it much thought. I want to deep dive into welfare activities. I have started Kaushal Army Foundation to help the underprivileged.
Do you read what the critics write about you? I am my own critic, so I am least bothered. People will always criticise, so it is best to turn a deaf ear.

Work done till date I started a model management & ad film company- The Looks Production in 1999; I promoted 5000 models and introduced a few to the film industry. I am the only multi-tasker to act in 82 films and 1000+ads and walk in 520 ramp shows. I have choreographed 270 ramp shows, directed 230 ad films and held 290 events. I have hosted Dance Baby Dance on Gemini TV too. I directed an ad Star Cards which was the first to touch 1 billion views on YouTube.
