What would be your advice to aspiring doctors?

I am not a big person to advise.

I observe that most of them (except a few) are not serious about their profession. So, I tell them, “Whatever you do should be done with absolute seriousness and love.

Considering, the current education system, many students seem to choose a profession or a stream because it is lucrative. So, I advise students to choose this profession only if they are interested and have the passion to pursue it. They should have a goal and strive to reach it so that they don’t regret their actions later.

FAVORITES Brand: I don’t believe in brands. I just pick what I like Car: BMW (I currently use BMW 525) Pastime: I don’t get much time, but whenever I get time, I spend it with my family Movie: I am no movie-watcher. I have a home theatre but it has not been used for the last 6 months.

Holiday destination: Paris FAMILY CORNER WIFE WITH NO DEMANDS: ANIL It’s been 7 years now and I have to say Sirisha is the best thing that happened to me. It was a traditional arranged marriage.

She is a beautiful wife and holds my family together with love and affection. She is a BTech graduate, but after marriage she chose to be a homemaker. Without her support, I don’t think I would be able to focus on my practice and other endeavors. She is not at all a demanding. If you ask me to describe my family, I have only these few words to say. Sirisha is lovely, Abhinav charming and Hasini beautiful.

A WONDERFUL JOURNEY: SIRISHA It has been a wonderful journey of seven years. I recently lost my father but my husband’s warmth and affection acted as a balm on the hurt. He cares for me like a brother, protects me like a father and loves me to the core as a husband. For me, he is a complete man. Because of his profession, he gets very less time for himself. But, whenever he gets time, he spends every moment with us. He is very particular about dropping the kids at the school. The only thing I don’t like about him is, he talks a lot over the phone while he eats. Because throughout the day, he doesn’t get time to eat properly, I wish he at least gets a decent dinner. That’s something I want him to change.
