he Honda CB500F bike nicely fits into the modern naked bikes category as it is a no-frills version of the trio that make up Honda’s new 500 family. The bike is modern looking and has an air of smart simplicity around it. It has a Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) for crisp throttle response in all weather conditions. Having a modest seat height, it weighs just 190 kg. The suspension system uses a larger fork that presents the rider with a comfortable travel. It has a Pro-Link single shock with nine-position spring-preload adjustability. The bike can reach a top speed of 168 kph. Equipped with a digital fuel gauge and speedometer, analog tachometer and trip meter, the bike also has low fuel, low oil and low battery indicators. It is available in black and pearl white. Like Honda’s other 500cc motorcycles, ABS is optional. Expected price: Rs. 3 - 3.25 lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi)
