Patrick Henry’s Red Hill to hold Wreath Laying Ceremony for Patrick Henry’s 276th Birthday on May 29th, 2012 Brookneal, VA – On Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., Patrick Henry’s Red Hill is celebrating

Patrick Henry’s 276th birthday with a Wreath Laying Ceremony at Patrick Henry’s Grave. The ceremony will include presentation of the colors by the Chatham High School Army JROTC Color Guard, tributes to the memory of Patrick Henry, a floral tribute to be placed on his grave, and the playing of the bagpipes. Complimentary admission will be granted for those attending the ceremony and complimentary birthday cake will be for all visitors throughout the day. About Red Hill Red Hill was Patrick Henry’s last home and burial place. Red Hill is the National Memorial for Patrick Henry and his life and home. Exhibiting Patrick Henry’s restored artwork, buildings, and the nationally ranked Osage orange tree, Red Hill offers tours, special events and school outreach programs.
