Welcome to our annual production sale! We are a family owned and opperated Registered Red Angus ranch. The home base of the ranch has been in the family since the mid 1800’s where our family has ran cattle on these hills for many generations. We made the switch from a commercial herd to a pure bred Red Angus herd in 1992. We honestly believe the cattle we are offering are the best that we have ever offered. We take the job of providing you with superior genetics very seriously and have upped our AI program to insure that we are giving you our very best. This past breeding season, we AIed every cow in the herd at least once. We also try to have herd bulls that are elite to cover the cows that do not stick to AI. The 2 year old bulls we are offering are not hold over bulls that didn’t sell as yearlings. They are the younger half of that years calf crop or bulls we used in our own breeding program. The yearling bulls are being offered for sale for the very first time in this sale. We will offer a few females in this sale like we always do and it has been a struggle to let any of them go this year. I don’t know if we have ever had a calf crop that I have liked as a whole as much as this one. We will also be offering a “Pick of the Keeper pen” a decision that certainly hasn’t came easy and one that I hope I don’t regret! It has been our policy to keep the bulls until May 15th if you choose to leave them here. We will also deliver them for free up to 300 miles. We hope that you can join us in person but if you can’t the sale will also be broadcast live on DV Auction. Face Off was our pick of the bulls in Arrowsmiths sale in 2017 and has done an outstanding job for us. Obviously a calving ease bull but you have to appreciate the mass and dimension that 2009 carries for a “heifer bull”.

In a sleep deprived moment I came up with the idea to sell a ONE TIME choice of our “keeper” pen. It sounded like a good idea at the time but as I write this I’m not so sure. The entire pen of heifers have been carefully studied, sifted and scrutinized for several months. We are holding nothing back and the gate is wide open. Many of these heifers are what I consider to be critical breeding pieces to our herd. 30 years of breeding has went into this pen of heifers and we hope that you will appreciate these heifers for what they are. 2142 is out of a first calf heifer that did a super job in tough conditions. Her dam is a rare Road Warrior daughter out of the great 075A cow that never misses.

The only Faceoff daughter that we are offering here. Her dam came from the Frey Dispersal in N Dakota and is a Detour 6Z daughter. They were some of the most highly sought after females in the sale. Nolin Red Angus bought a maternal sister to 2122.
