Youth Basketball Coaches Needed!

The City of Tracy is once again pleased to offer their Junior Warriors program for a very reasonable fee. One of the reasons that the City is able to offer a very successful and exceptional program at this low fee is due to the commitment of the community in supporting the league. The greatest opportunity to support the program is through volunteering as a coach in one of the age divisions. Not only does volunteering for the program assist with this program, it offers you the chance to make a difference in the lives of our local youth. Research has shown that participants in recreation programs such as the City’s Junior Warriors Program stay in school longer have fewer problems with the law and become better citizens. We encourage you to consider this opportunity to give back to your community. Coach’s commitment is only two hours per week, one for practice and one for games when the season starts. No experience is necessary as the City provides free coaches training for all volunteers. To volunteer or for further information, please call (209) 831-6202.
