Registration Info Resident Discount (“Res-Disc.”) vs. “Cost” 6 Your resident address must fall within one of three 6 Tracy Zip Codes (95376, 95377, or 95304) to receive 7-9 our resident discount. In addition, your address must be within Tracy city limits. If your address has ve digits 10 or more, then your home may be outside the Tracy 10-12 city limits. It is possible to live in one of the three Tracy Zip Codes and still not live within Tracy city limits. All 12-13 non-residents pay the “cost” of a program. 13-15 16 Program Withdrawal/Transfer/Refund If you are not happy with the quality of any of our 16 programs, please contact us right away. We want to 16-17 resolve your concern so you can continue, or in some 17 instances, receive a refund. You must complete a “Request for Class/Activity Withdrawal Form” and 18 submit to the Program Coordinator. Withdrawals are 19-20 subject to a $5 transaction fee. Refunds are subject 21 to an additional $5 transaction fee. If you leave a credit on your account you will not be charged the 22 additional transaction fee. Water Exercise

Come out and enjoy a great, low-impact workout! These classes are designed to help improve cardiovascular endurance, muscle tone, strength, and coordination through the use of water weights and water noodles. Both men and women invited to attend. World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™

The City of Tracy has joined forces with the nation’s top water safety and training organizations to present the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL™). TEAM WLSL™ holds the current Guinness World Record™ for the largest simultaneous swimming lesson conducted at multiple venues. If we are successful in breaking last year’s total number of students, all participants will receive a certificate acknowledging that they are a World Record Holder.

Recreational Swim

Relax and cool off with your family and friends! Recreation Swim is open to all ages: children 8 years and younger will be admitted only under the supervision of a paying adult. All who enter the facility must pay. Snacks and drinks available for purchase. No outside food or drinks, please. June 2 - August 5 (Closed 7/4, 9/3 holidays; no rec swim 6/21) Monday-Thursday 12:30-3:30pm Friday-Sunday 12:30-5pm August 6 - September 23 Saturday-Sunday 12:30-5pm Fees: $3 entry fee (children 0-2 FREE with paying adult); rec/lap swim pass $25 for 10 visits; senior (50+) discount pass $15 for 10 visits

Toddler Recreational Swim

Special recreational swim time just for adults and their children ages 4 and under.

Lap Swimming

Swimming is one of the best overall workouts you can do to improve cardiovascular conditioning, muscle strength, endurance, posture, and exibility, all at the same time. Lifeguard Training

Parent/Tot

This class is designed for parents to help their infants and toddlers develop a high comfort level in and around the water. Parents will learn various techniques on how to adjust their child to the water. This class is not designed to teach participants how to swim.

Becoming a lifeguard is a rewarding job, but requires hard work and the desire to help save lives. This 40 hour course includes e-learning, classroom learning and pool time. Upon successful completion of all written exams and water skills, this course certi es participants in the American Red Cross Lifeguarding (valid for two years), First Aid and CPR/AED. Come prepared to swim each class session. Please note full and complete attendance at all sessions is required to receive your certi cation. Candidates are welcome to apply for lifeguard positions with the City of Tracy after completion of the course.

Junior Lifeguard Camp

Private Lessons

Learn about the profession of lifeguarding! In week one, complete American Red Cross Guard Start, which provides a foundation of lifeguarding and life skills. In week two, learn what it takes to become a swim instructor with hands-on, practical experience shadowing City of Tracy staff. Participants who successfully complete this camp are eligible to submit an application to be a volunteer Junior Guard.

Jr Giants Coaches Wanted

Volunteering as a coach in the City of Tracy’s Junior Giants program provides you with an opportunity to have a positive impact on the youth of our community. The Junior Giants program is a free, non-competitive baseball league that offers participants with an excellent opportunity to learn the basics of the game in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. This free program is for local children ages 5 through 13. No coaching experience is necessary as the Junior Giants offer coaching clinics and training DVDs to assist new or inexperienced volunteers on proper methods to teach the skills of the game. The program runs from late June through the rst week of August. Stop by the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, 715 Central Ave. to sign up to become a volunteer coach. ASP staff are trained, educated, experienced and committed recreation professionals who value your child’s needs. The ASP program incorporates weekly homework assistance, the Healthy Habits program and enrichment activities. The daily rate allows participants to register for the ASP program one day at a time. The hourly rate is for those children who need after school care in the afternoon for 1-25 hours during a calendar month. Have a voice and make a difference in your community by joining the Youth Advisory Commission. YAC is a great way for teens to get involved, develop leadership skills, take an active role in government and make an impact on the teen community. The City of Tracy kicks off the 2018 Adult Softball season with our Spring leagues held at the beautiful Tracy Sports Complex. Registration ends February 14. League Play will begin the week of February 20. Our program is a recreational slow pitch softball league, offering three levels of competition in our coed and men’s leagues. Underground Gardens

Forestiere Underground Gardens is a hand-built network of underground rooms, courtyards and passageways alive with fruit producing trees and vines, reminiscent of the ancient catacombs. After the tour of the underground gardens we will venture to Fig Garden Village for lunch and shopping. An additional $15 is due at the time of registration for entry into the tour. The goal of the Senior Center exercise program is to provide you with a safe and structured program to promote good health. Standing and chair exercise programs are provided. All classes are led by licensed, quali ed instructors. * All exercises are adaptable to t your current tness level. * Bring a towel and water bottle. * Comfortable, loose clothing and gym shoes are recommended. There are some income restrictions and participants may sign up at the Tracy Community Center the day of distribution only. Brown Bag is held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 8:30am to 10:30am. A $12 donation for the year is optional.
