MPR MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM

Kitted out with the latest in Life Fitness circuit training equipment, double action pulley systems, bikes, ropes, and fitness balls, the Circuit Room has everything to get fully customizable workouts and unique training sessions cranking.

UWA Sports classic group fitness space, the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) plays host to the majority of our Les Mills™ classes. Boasting plenty of floor space, booming sound system and plenty of mirrors to keep you in form, the MPR never goes wanting.

30min Gym Blitz: This is a 30min resistance based circuit class held in the gym. This express class is aimed at giving participants a full body, resistance based workout using machine & floor based exercises in a fun group training environment. Participants are advised to meet the instructor upstairs in the Circuit Room.

BODYATTACK™: BODYATTACK™ is the sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises.

Quick Cardio 20: A 20min cardiovascular based class held in the gym. This express class is suited for individuals who are looking for a thorough cardio based warm up with stretching. By the end of the class participants will be warm & ready to continue on with their own training in the gym. Participants are advised to meet the instructor upstairs in the Circuit Room. Jump Start: Jump start your calorieburning engine with a mixture of cardiovascular and resistance training. Designed to motivate you and keep you on track with your long term fitness and weight loss goals. Open to all levels of fitness. Participants are advised to meet the instructor in the Circuit Room.

BODYBALANCE™: An energetic mix of eastern disciplines like yoga and tai chi, with popular new methods such as pilates. Controlled breathing, concentration, and a carefully structured series of stretches and poses creates a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance. BODYCOMBAT™: An MMA inspired workout that combines moves and stances from a range of self-defence disciplines like karate, boxing and taekwon-do. A fierce, energetic experience which raises fitness levels throughout the whole body. BODYPUMP™: A 60 minute class using barbells and adjustable weights to tone and condition muscles whilst raising metabolic rate for rapid fat-burning. The “world’s fastest way to get in shape”.

Zumba®: Dance away stress and reinvigorate yourself with Zumba®. The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves in a group workout environment. CXWORX™: Based on cutting edge scientific research, this latest 30 minute Les Mills™ class hones your abs, glutes, back and obliques with revolutionary core training.

CYC CYCLE ROOM UWA Sports’ brand new dedicated Cycle Room features 30 streamlined spin bikes geared for optimal training performance. The perfect place for all cycling in style, the Cycle Room hosts regular SPIN and RPM classes. RPM™: The ultimate ride. A safe, motivational, aerobic experience designed to get you into the zone fast. Ride to the rhythm of energetic music, and sweat your way to a natural high. Spin: Take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, speed work and interval training. Suitable for all fitness levels.

OUT OUTSIDE Due to space requirements of various group fitness classes, UWA Sports utilizes the scenic parks and gardens around the Centre for training. Participants for these classes should meet their instructor at the Centre Front Desk. Fitbox: Practice your boxing skills, improve your agility and functional core strength. Fitbox combines agility drills, partner boxing and challenging abdominal exercises for an effective full body workout. Participants are advised to meet the instructor in the Centre foyer. UltraFit: This class is not for the faint hearted. Consisting of high intensity cardio-vascular training mixed with strength and endurance training, look forward to a good smashing! Medium level of fitness required. Participants are advised to meet the instructor in the Centre foyer.
