>ENGAGE GOD SUMMER SERMON SERIES: IN BETWEEN—We are living “in between” lives. We are living “in between” the resurrection of Jesus and His coming in glory on the last day. During this “In Between” time St. Peter asks the question: “What kind of people ought you to be?” (2 peter 3:11) Join us this summer as we use God’s Commandments to answer the question: ‘What kind of people ought you to be?’ as we learn to love God and love one another more fully. SHARE YOUR TESTIMONY—God is doing amazing things in our midst! And we need your help to tell the story. We want to collect one-minute testimonies from you. Use your phone or tablet to record your own testimony and then send it to us. That’s it. Super simple. Please answer one of the following questions: 1) In what ways has God asked you To take a step in faith in the past year? 2) Where are the places in your life God has asked you to take a risk? and 3) To what new

places has God moved you in the past year? We may not be able to use all videos and some may be edited for time. For questions contact Steve Adams, sadams@trinityct.org. Here are some guidelines:  Find a quiet place with as little background noise as possible  Use your front camera - selfie is ok if necessary  Frame yourself from the chest up (in landscape mode)  Start with “Hi, my name is….”  Upload your video to this link on our website: www.trinityct.org/testimony SUMMER CROSSTALK DEVOTIONS—Throughout the summer, we’ll be sending brief audio devotions, with the theme “Words of Hope,” directly to our email inbox on Tuesday and Thursdays throughout the summer. If you would like to receive these devotions and are unsure if we have your email, please contact Rebecca Thomas at rthomas@trinityct.org. They are also available on iTunes and Google Play. SUNDAY BIBLE STUDIES – Classes meet at 9:30 a.m. unless otherwise noted. Sunday School, 252 and XP3 have ended for the summer. Classes will resume in August. ONE SESSION ONLY BIBLE STUDY—Sunday Bible Study - one session: "The Names of God". Our relationship with God can be based on how we understand Him. Do we see God as the Almighty-Creator or perhaps as our "Abba" Father or maybe the Good Shepherd? God's character is revealed in His Hebrew names used in Scripture and shows how God provided a greater relationship with us as mankind moved through the ages. This study begins with His name at Creation and shows how it evolved to Immanuel and now to the Holy Spirit who lives within a believer. Join us for this study of the names of God, July 22, 9:30 a.m. Rooms 4-5, Leader: Kathy Bell MIDWEEK BIBLE STUDY AND GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY – “PSALMS” - Most people who know anything about the Bible know a few “literary gems” from the Psalms. But if you are not satisfied with a few oft-quoted verses, then come to a full banquet. You are invited to sit down at the table and enjoy the spiritual food found in the Psalms. Real people, who had real problems and joys, wrote the Psalms. Just as God spoke to the writers of the Psalms, so He speaks to you today. Study continues on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. Location: Rooms 4-5. MEN’S WEEKDAY STUDY—The men’s Wednesday morning Bible study is focusing on the book of John. Study meets Wednesday mornings at 7:30-9 a.m. in the Church Lounge. Led by Jim Hill. MEN’S BIBLE STUDY – “GALATIANS”- The human acceptance we long for often comes only IF we are attractive, smart, wealthy or powerful. And God’s standards seem even higher. We think we must work harder, live better, pray longer and witness to more people to get on God’s good side. In this study, St. Paul shows us the true source of our acceptance – Jesus Christ. Starts Wednesday, May 22nd, 6:00 – 7:00 a.m. Location: Church Lounge. Study guide, coffee and pastries provided.

The goal is to begin meeting people, knowing their stories and forming relationships.
