The Rangitikei EcoFest is an opportunity for everyone to come together and discover an abundance of wellbeing through great music, food, stalls and education. Stallholders are advised that all stalls are to be planet and people friendly. We encourage all stall holders to offer the best organic/sustainable/environmentally friendly product available. We welcome stall holders to further promote their product by holding a free workshop. However spaces are very limited. If you are interested in this opportunity please contact us immediately.

Information and Conditions Will you require power for your site? The electrical supply is 240v AC. All electrical equipment must comply with electrical safety regulations and be tagged with current compliance tags. Please bring an RCD (residual current device) with you. MAX 2 KVA allowance per stall (exceptions over 2 kva will need to pay increments of $25 blocks) Please advise at time of registration if you will require power for your site.
Stall Standards We encourage all stallholders to dress their site to encourage more interest and appeal.
Arrival & Departure Wardens will be available on arrival to show you to your site. The Pavilion will be available for set up from 12pm Friday. All stalls must be set up before 9am Saturday. Vehicles will not be able to move on or around site after this. The festival ends on Sunday at 4.30pm. Vehicles will be allowed on site from this point. All vehicles to be aware and courteous of pedestrians and other stallholders
Festival Hours? The Festival is officially open from 10am Saturday morning, however campers and stallholders are encouraged to come the day before. The festival finishes at 4.30pm on Sunday.
Camping and vehicle access? Each stall has free camping passes for 2 staff. For more than 2 staff extra staff passes are available for $25pp. Stallholders may be able to request camping next to their stall site. Vehicles are allowed into be parked behind stall space if space is available. Please note stallholder vehicles will not be allowed to enter and exit the site without prior arrangement and must be in by 9.00am each day.
Pets Pets are permitted on site with campers only. To comply with the safety and comfort of other visitors and wildlife all dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, and owners must take responsibility for their pet by ensuring they remove all poop.
Alcohol Alcohol is not permitted to be brought into the campground or pavilion.
Standards & compliance? Stalls must be fully paid when booking. Please note the Festival Organisers reserve the right to: Turn down a booking to maintain standards, variety & quality, and to limit international products; and to ask any vendor to leave who is not complying with these conditions or is acting unprofessionally. No site sharing unless by arrangement. Trailers and buses etc subject to extra charges if over allocated site space. No alcohol is permitted to be brought onto site.
Additional Guidelines & Conditions for Food Stallholders Please check any relative regulations Are you selling ready prepared or added value food & drink products? Your food and beverages should be as organic as possible, wholesome and of a high standard. We encourage you to display any organic certification. (Items such as coke, standard confectionery and conventional junk food are not acceptable for sale). Any questions please contact Cath on 06 327 7633.
Preparing food on site? Food ingredients need to be appropriately chilled and hygienically stored with cooking utensils clean and safe. All food preparation must comply with the appropriate health and food hygiene regulations. Organic wholesalers can supply most organic products.
Cooking power? All cooking should be done with gas, not electricity, and your gas bottles must be current, comply with safety regulations and used in a safe manner. (The electrical supply is 240v AC and for small appliance use only.) All electrical equipment must comply with electrical safety regulations and have current compliance tags. All generators must be silent.
Health, Hygiene and Safety You need to comply with all OSH requirements, all regulations, bylaws and guidelines for the cooking and handling of food. All appliances to be operated at the Rangitikei EcoFest must comply with all OSH requirements, regulations and bylaws.
What about waste? Food stallholders are requested to use biodegradable, recyclable or reusable serving materials. The organisers can put you in touch with suppliers of these. Please provide rubbish bins for your customers and remove all your rubbish from site. Some campers may choose to use their own plates and cups in the interest of the environment, please use this opportunity to be planet friendly.
Stall hours Stall hours are 10am-4.30pm Saturday and Sunday, however those booking the Food stalls, opening hours can be flexible to cater for late nights.
