06 | TO CARE: THE BATHHOUSE This year 4 bathhouse project focussed on the principles of thermotherapy to offer respite from busy urban life in Glasgow city centre. There are three key temperature zones; heat, cool and rest. Each of these spaces, and the transitions between, offer healing and comfort in varied forms including hot pools, saunas, ice baths and a stretching studio. The Barrowland park site was re-imagined by creating access to the Union Line and revitalising an existing green space in the city centre. This was based on the previously developed city strategy to bring green spaces into Glasgow, used throughout year 4 projects. The primary construction material was concrete, used in conjunction with a vegetated roof. Software / tools used: Revit, AutoCad, Photoshop, Illustrator
