Life, Learning & Leadership

OUR MISSION IS TO PARTNER WITH PARENTS TO DEVELOP STUDENTS WITH CHRISTIAN CHARACTER AND A BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW, EQUIPPING THEM FOR LIFE, LEARNING AND LEADERSHIP. Our goal is that each student would be equipped to pursue God’s plan for his/her life while being salt and light in a decaying and lost world. Our core values of Truth, Family, Church, and Kingdom Education are central to the accomplishment of our mission. At First Baptist Academy we can say with confidence and integrity that we are committed to providing a rigorous, academic program of studies designed to challenge and prepare our students to serve in the Kingdom of God. Students are trained by highly qualified and gifted teachers to develop a personal biblical worldview that will enable them to think biblically and critically as they encounter new information and face life experiences. Training for leadership in the Kingdom is a life-long process of equipping the total child which begins with a transformed mind and heart. It is our prayer that FBA students be thoroughly equipped unto every good work.

“From attending First Baptist Academy, my children have a strong desire to learn with great enthusiasm, and truly look forward to the next day of school.” — ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PARENT F B A L I O N S . O R G

FBA encourages every student to have a personal relationship with Christ evidenced by a life surrendered to the will of God, directed by His Word and inspired by the Holy Spirit.

FBA understands that all truth is God’s Truth as revealed in His inspired, inerrant Word and His creation.

FBA focuses on the demonstration of servant leadership as modeled by Jesus Christ.

OUR FACULTY OPERATES UNDER THE ASSUMPTION THAT EVERY STUDENT WILL GRADUATE FROM FBA AND ATTEND COLLEGE. The process of preparing a student for success at the college level begins in preschool. We are committed to excellence at every level of our PreK 3-12 grades. Our faculty operates under the assumption that every student will graduate from FBA and attend college. As a private, college preparatory, Christian school, we offer high school honors level and advanced placement courses with opportunities for dual enrollment. Grades K-12 are fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and AdvancEd. Our high school has enjoyed tremendous success and growth since its establishment in 2006. One hundred percent of FBA high school graduates who have applied have been accepted to college. Our graduates have been accepted to a variety of public and private institutions all over the nation and report they are well prepared for their college years. Our guidance department is dedicated to providing individualized attention and resources to every high school student to ensure correct high school course placement and acceptance into top ranking colleges.

“As a parent, knowing that my child is being challenged educationally while being taught the Christian values we teach at home is such a blessing.” — MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENT F B A L I O N S . O R G

God’s truth is absolute and is revealed to man through creation, the Bible, and the person of His Son Jesus Christ.

“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” — 2 TIMOTHY 3:16, 17

OUR STUDENTS HAVE A DISTINCT ADVANTAGE OVER THEIR COLLEGE CLASSMATES AND FUTURE CO-WORKERS WHO DO NOT KNOW GOD OR HIS PROVISION AND HAVE NOT INTEGRATED GOD’S TRUTH INTO THEIR WORLDVIEW. Skeptics are often critical of our emphasis on biblical worldview, stating that it comes at the cost of strong academics. Nothing could be further from the truth. Our minds were designed by an all-knowing Creator, to function best when coupled with a close, intimate personal relationship with Christ. A biblical worldview affords us the opportunity to contextualize academics within a larger framework which brings meaning and purpose to the classroom and ultimately to life. At every level and in every subject our students learn God’s Truth is relevant to academics. God reveals His character and attributes in math, science, history, english, and in all subjects. Academics find a renewed relevance and permanence as it is given purpose and meaning within the Kingdom of Christ.

“FBA provides a safe and loving environment that truly enables us all to feel like family.” — PRESCHOOL PARENT

God has given parents the primary responsibility of educating their children; therefore, FBA is committed to partnering with Christian families in this endeavor.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.” —D EUTERONOMY 6:5-7
