with documentation and visa so we are hoping that this can be sorted very soon as he is booked to arrive this Thursday night so fingers crossed. If he misses the briefing we should be able to still process him especially as he would be staying with President Norm who can bring him up to speed. Laurie mentioned that we did have a Turkish girl exchange student before named Eycha (I hope that spelling is correct) and she was brilliant. When she went back to Turkey and our Prime Minister at the time Bob Hawke opened an Anzac Memorial she was his interpreter which was great. Rotary assisted her in becoming a great ambassador for her country. He also plays the electric guitar which would be good as Norms son plays in a band. Tom Drinkwater has offered to donate an amount of money to pay for his fees. We congratulated Tom on his generosity. Dues can be received next week when Treasurer is present.
