Villa Serena

Los Altos Hills, California

Villa Serena Los Altos Hills, California Built in 2002, the villa is the culmination of the current owners’ vision to create a masterpiece in the style of 16th century Italian Renaissance architect, Andrea Palladio – considered to be one of the most influential individuals in the history of architecture. Taking several years to complete, this spectacular estate is a triumph of architectural design and exceptional craftsmanship that unfolds over 5 glorious acres in Los Altos Hills. Local and international artisans were assembled to create a world touched by beauty at every turn. In keeping with the style of the Veneto region of Italy, floors were hand-set in intricately designed terrazzo, ceilings sculpted by master plasterers, and interior doors, lights and hardware were all custom made just for Villa Serena. Inspired by travel throughout the world, the kitchen is an original by renowned London designer Clive Christian, the lounge is a replica of the Buddha Bar in Paris, and the nightclub is a reproduction of Annabel’s in London. The result is a sumptuous collection of rooms that span three levels and approximately 22,000 square feet – all catered by stateof-the-art systems for security, personal comfort, whole home audio with speakers in every room and complete Internet connectivity. Continuing the exuberance of luxuriousness, the grounds are equally breathtaking, framing the classic symmetry of the home with formal lawns, fountains and terraces that open from every room – all beneath open skies and a backdrop of sweeping views of the East Bay hills. $31,000,000.
