“My use of The RE/MAX Collection Magazine and Real Marketing program has now directly resulted in a third $1 million plus listing. For the first listing at $1.75 million, The RE/MAX Collection Magazine closed the deal when I was asked what I did that was different from all the other agents. Due to the claim that I would put the property on the cover of the magazine I had to write the main points of the marketing plan into the listing agreement. The second listing came as a result of the decision to enter the high end luxury market of downtown Edgartown where the competition is fierce, and includes Sotheby’s and several other entrenched and well known luxury market firms. The listing for $1.95 million came from the mailings that were received by the seller (a world famous maritime artist), who was impressed by the quality of the mailing pieces and, used that as the basis for his decision along with the fact that his firm had used RE/MAX previously in different parts of the country for transactions and had a high regard for the agents. The third listing, for $2.2 million, came from the HomeEstimate.com feature of the mailing pieces, where the buyer used the email feature of the home estimator to reach out to me. In all three listings, it was the quality and uniqueness of the mailing pieces that won the day.
