About Our Magazine In Real Family Travel Magazine, we embrace a sense of authenticity in our articles because we accept stories from writers from all around the world. In doing so, we acknowledge the different spellings and grammatical preferences associated with the English of various contributors' regions.. We spell words like "color" and "flavor" without the extra "u" in the USA, but some of our international writers include it. So rather than a "one size fits all" approach to editing, we’ve decided that we won’t change their spelling to be like "ours", and we won’t adjust ours to match theirs. There will be times when we break grammar or spelling rules that would make our high school English teachers cringe or include articles that have a more personal or conversational feel. We aren't like other magazines and we like it this way. Having genuine stories written by amazing people, not necessarily professional writers, is more aligned with the core values of Real Family Travel Magazine than strictly adhering to editorial guidelines. We hope you appreciate this about our magazine as we bring you REAL stories by REAL families about REAL travels around the globe.

Editor's Letter – March 2013 March. The beginning of spring. New beginnings. Clearing out the old and bringing in new life. In this issue, we're bringing fresh perspectives on places and life that we hope will encourage you to embrace something new. Since our “Asia Edition” went over so well last month, we decided to focus on my home country, the United States of America! We're going to take you on a cross country road trip and give you tips on how to make any road trip a little better. Come with us to hike the Valley of Fire or the Great Smoky Mountains. Enjoy the beaches along Michigan's coasts or get some travel tips for taking the kids to see Mickey at Disney World. Challenge your preconceived ideas about New York City and learn how one summer vacation changed a man forever. Our featured interview with Renee D'Antoni will open your mind to taking your pet along on your travel adventures.

We're SO excited to see new people subscribing to our magazine every day. Of course, the more the merrier, but we need your help. Could you take 2 minutes and write a review for us? We want as many families as possible to be empowered to travel more and having YOUR review in the Apple Newsstand can help us do just that. We appreciate it!
