Recent local auctions are seeing good clearance rates, attracting large crowds and plenty of serious bidders. Bevans Wollongong had a very successful auction on Saturday 13th July for 30 Yuill Avenue, Corrimal, attracting six registered bidders with the property selling under the hammer for $580,000. The campaign attracted more than 60 people to the open for inspections and a large crowd of around 50 people to the auction. Also in Corrimal, a local purchaser was successful with a bid of $360,000 for 87 Cross Street.

Offered by MMJ North, the property saw plenty of interested groups at the open for inspections with 22 through the property and four registered bidders. There was a crowd of around 15 in attendance at the auction. The new owner will be doing some repair work before renting it It was a similar story for Ray White Wollongong. Their property at 39 Woodlawn Avenue, Mangerton also saw a large crowd of around 50 people, also with six registered bidders. The property sold for $465,000 - $15,000 above reserve. Several other properties were offered for auction, and while attracting interested parties, failed to sell at auction and were passed in and are now back on the market for sale by private treaty.
